I'm Joostem here with the Redken Pliable Paste versus the Moulding Paste
0:04
And they're just a little bit different. This one smells very citrusy and sea-breathy
0:08
And this one has a much lighter smell. But let's look at these in more detail
0:16
I'm Joostem here with the Redken Bruse Moulding Paste. And as you can see, it holds my hair up just a little
0:22
It has a little light hold, but a matte and a little shiny finish
0:26
And it smells very flowery and citrusy. It has a pretty basic black design, but of course it's about what's inside
0:33
And it's quite wet. It's a wet substance. It's more of like a cream than a moulding paste
0:39
And what I like to do is rub this across my hand so I don't get any wet spots anywhere
0:43
across my hair. And then rub that in and push it a little inwards and up so I have a little bit of volume here
0:49
Then I just take a little bit extra and do the back and sides of my hair again just to make sure that it stays in place all day
0:54
Now it doesn't have a lot of hold, so it's not ideal for spikes. But I did test it on a little bit longer hair of my son
1:00
And it's great for like a messy out of bed look with a matte finish and just a little
1:04
bit of shine. And I like to push that to the side and make it just a little bit messy
1:09
As you can see, it gives just a little bit of hold and you can work with it during the day so it doesn't get crunchy like with gels
1:15
So I really recommend this one for people who want a light hold with a natural looking
1:19
finish for perhaps a messy or an effortless looking look. Hi most, I'm here today with the Redken Pliable Paste and as you can see it has a light hold
1:27
and a slightly wet look that you can mold during the day. And it smells very light and sea breezy
1:34
Maybe a little like shaving cream. So this has a very basic gel like design, but of course it's about what's inside
1:41
So you have this very wet and it's kind of grainy texture here
1:45
It's a little bit different than other gels and pastes I've tried because it's a little
1:49
bit more grainy and wet. But this has a very light hold and you can mold this during the day
1:54
So they say it has a flexible hold. So what I like to do is rub this across my hands so I have a little bit of the wetness
2:00
all across my palms and then rub that through my hair and push it a little up
2:05
And then I like to take a little bit extra and do the back and sides of my hair just to make sure that it stays in place all day
2:11
Now this is a very light hold so it's not very suitable for spiky hair that I often apply
2:16
But it's also great for a little bit longer hair so I tested it on my son's hair as well
2:20
and I like to push that a little to the side and often I go for a little messy look
2:24
But you can also really apply this and make a very neat push to the side look
2:29
So overall I really recommend this for people who want a light hold with a wet finish that
2:34
you can reshape during the day
