Sausage Balls
Ingredients:
1 pound ground pork sausage
2 cups biscuit baking mix (like Bisquick)
1 pound sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
¼ cup milk (optional, if needed for moisture)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Mix ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the ground sausage, biscuit baking mix, and shredded Cheddar cheese. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. If the mixture is too dry, add a bit of milk.
Form balls: Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the sausage balls are golden brown and cooked through.
Serve: Let them cool slightly before serving. They can be enjoyed warm or at room temperature.
