Here’s the classic Libby’s Pumpkin Pie recipe:
Ingredients:
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
2 large eggs
1 can (15 ounces) LIBBY’S® 100% Pure Pumpkin
1 can (12 fluid ounces) NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk
1 unbaked 9-inch (4-cup volume) deep-dish pie shell
Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Mix Ingredients: In a small bowl, mix sugar, cinnamon, salt, ginger, and cloves. In a large bowl, beat the eggs. Stir in the pumpkin and the sugar-spice mixture. Gradually stir in the evaporated milk.
Pour and Bake: Pour the mixture into the pie shell. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 40-50 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
Cool: Cool on a wire rack for 2 hours. Serve immediately or refrigerate.
