How does an EV truck work ?

So this is basically a full EV truck or it could be an EV lorry

And it's pretty simple how it works. Let me show you guys the battery

So this is the battery pack. As you can see, this is pack number two

So I suppose there are two packs in this truck. And let me show you guys basically how it works is

There's this thing called the PDU and there's this thing called a motor controller unit

So the PDU basically has an OBC, right? OBC means an onboard charger

What the OBC does is it converts the AC. So when you plug in to charge, it converts the AC current to DC current

Because all the batteries are DC. And then you have the motor controller unit

This motor controller unit basically is connected. to the wheels directly. And how it works is

the motor runs on a magnet. Because of the magnet, it basically spins

and when it spins, the wheels obviously spin. And the best part is

that when you break, the braking is called a regeneration process. So when you break

the car, the battery is basically being charged as well. And how it works is because

of the magnetic system inside. There is a permanent magnet and there is a coiling system whereby when electric current goes through the coil, it spins and because of that, the entire motor works

And because of that, the wheels start spinning. And that's basically how an EV truck functions
