I saw a video with a caption that said Nothing OS copied Windows Phone and made it better. Windows Phone features a user interface based on Microsoft's "Metro" design language, which itself was inspired by the user interface of Zune. Metro UI was later renamed "Modern UI", but it's distinct features remained the same - a Start Screen with Live Tiles that displayed real-time information in addition to serving as app shortcuts. That video and its claim triggered some nostalgia that made me fish out my Microsoft Lumia 950. I am not convinced of the claim, though.
