What We Know About Putin's Time In The KGB

It's hard to say when Vladimir Putin began planning his presidential career, but the allure of climbing the ranks through the KGB probably started when he was in high school in Saint Petersburg. Once inside, Putin wasted no time in going from KGB agent to president, with a couple of stops at deputy mayor and prime minister in between. And in April of 2021, Putin decided that he should just remain president forever, signing legislation that allows him to run for additional terms in office.
