There's nothing more wholesome than a PB&J on white bread, right? Think again. While you certainly won't keel over after eating a piece of toast, white bread isn't very good for you either. And it might have negative ramifications for your health in ways that you aren't presently aware of. Sure, we all know that white bread isn't very nutrient dense, and that it contains plenty of sugar, but did you also know that white bread might trigger migraines in certain individuals. Even if you don't respond quite so dramatically to white bread, it's probably still not something that should be a major staple in your diet. With so many better alternatives to choose from, here's the real reason why you shouldn't buy white bread.
