The Failed McDonald's Holiday Cup Design That Offended People

Surely there could be no more innocuous item than a novelty seasonal cup available from a fast food restaurant, right? Well, don't be so sure. In 2016, a McDonald's cup released during the Winter Holidays was fittingly decorated with snowflakes, hearts, stars, and a pair of mittens. Not exactly easy fodder for mockery and public outrage you might think, but that didn't stop one enterprising customer from defacing his cup in a way that soon made it impossible to look at the cup's design without giggling (or recoiling). This is the failed McDonald's holiday cup design that offended people.
