Foods From The 1950s That Are Weirdly Making A Comeback

After the one-two punch of The Great Depression and World War II, Americans were looking for a fresh start in the 1950s. Food was finally available in abundance, and a glut of so-called "convenience foods" flooded the market. Condensed soups and powdered gelatin emerged out of the need for portable food for soldiers during the war, and in the '50s they were becoming part of the suburban diet.
