We Finally Know Why Costco Stopped Selling Its Brisket Sandwich

Is there anything better than a good barbecue beef brisket sandwich? Just typing those words out will make you hungry. Fans of the smoky-meat-and-creamy-coleslaw combo used to be able to pop into Costco (if they were members, of course) and drop just $4.99 to get one, but times have unfortunately changed. Sometime in Spring 2020, the sandwich seemingly disappeared from menus, and the big box store is silent as to why. After doing some research (and getting very, very hungry in the process), we think we finally know why Costco stopped selling its brisket sandwich. Here's our best guess.
