Purpose of RACI Matrix

The primary aim or purpose of the RACI Matrix is to chart out and document the responsibility of each role involved at each phase of the Project. RACI Matrix is a tabular chart which includes a list of activities or decisions and the roles that different people play with respect to activities. Therefore, against each activity or decision, people in different roles are assigned a letter from the acronym ‘RACI’.
