You said that those that don't love to hear God's word, don't love to hear the commandments and instructions of God,
0:07
God hates their prayer. Those who are never ready to hear, but they always ready for some form of
0:13
miracle or or or prophecy and are not willing to hear the instructions of God.
0:20
Their prayer is an abomination unto God. And so, Holy Spirit, we thank you for
0:26
revelation. And we ask this day that you teach our hearts to hear your word, to listen to your word, so that not only
0:33
will we receive the grace to be heard in prayer, but we would live the life of
0:39
fulfilling every word of God spoken about our lives in Jesus name. Amen.
0:47
Welcome to our annual annual pastor's appreciation ceremony. I know
0:53
in most churches another pastor will come and do it. Hallelujah. We are not most churches. Uh we are a rare kind. So
1:00
please pardon us. Hallelujah. We still love you and appreciate you.
1:05
Amen. Thank you. I needed a go ahead from uh
1:13
the technical director. Are you ready? It's time for God's word. And today I
1:19
want to speak on honoring God. Tell somebody, honoring God.
1:24
I want you to understand that there's a reason why your pastor is is um is is
1:31
not always your best buddy all the time. Neither is he also your enemy because they carry in them
1:38
the spirit of being the rod of God and the staff of God. Now, what is rod for?
1:44
Rod is for correction. Rod is for correction. Being able to correct somebody by telling the person the truth
1:50
even when it hurts. Are you with me? So rod is for beating people also. Huh?
1:58
So the rod has a very bitter side and the staff is Oh,
3:03
somebody who hears God's word. You have a responsibility to make sure that the people that feed you good word, not just
3:10
any word, but the people that feed you the true word of God, you minister to all their needs, not to some needs.
3:17
Hallelujah. Said be but he's quick to add. And he said, "Be not deceived." So even as you
3:24
go to support a man of God, please do not deceive yourself. Whatsoever a man
3:30
will sow, that will he receive. Hallelujah. So if you sow what you do not like, you
3:37
must receive what you don't like. Measures pressed down, shaken together, and running over. So sew what you like.
3:44
You see, that's the the first law. The reason why I like I like the Bible is the first law of life. It says, "Do unto
3:49
others as you want them to do unto you." Hello. And so the law of giving is is
3:56
based upon that revelation. The fact that if you value something, you offer it, God also values it. Amen.
4:04
Hallelujah. And the Bible says that God had respect on Abel's offering because it was all Abel had. And Bible said God
4:11
had respect on that widow's might because it was everything she had.
4:16
because everything she had was a might. It was the most valuable thing that she had and she gave it to God and God was
4:24
honored to have received it. God expects his children to be responsible for the economic welfare of his pastors. In the
4:31
book of Deuteronomy the chapter 14 27 it said the Levite is within thy gates of
4:37
the Levite. So the pastor who is within thy gates what's thy gates the people you are
4:43
connected to the people you are gates is a connection the people you are connected to which pastors are you
4:49
connected to the person that is connected to your life the person who is there in your life as a pastor that you
4:56
know that you associate with you have a responsibility to support. Number two,
5:01
the pastors that you grew up with. Some of you have schoolmates and friends who
5:07
ignore you because you're a pastor, who stay away from coming to help you for a
5:13
reason best known to them, but they are willing to go and help somebody that
5:19
else they don't know and don't know their calling. They forget something God says within
5:25
thy gates. Tells them within thy gates. And so we have a duty. Now let me share
5:31
something with you. In the olden days, God called every person's house. He placed the pastor there. The firstborn
5:38
son of every family. That firstborn son was a priest to God. Whether he was
5:44
called or not, it was by force. The person was born the firstborn. So if
5:49
your brother is the firstborn, he's God's property. He's not belonging to his family. He's God's property. And so
5:55
every family had a priest in the house of priesthood.
6:01
Why did God do that? So when he asked them to give sighting, they would not feel like they were throwing their money
6:07
away. They felt that they were contributing to the common wealth and welfare of their own family member
6:15
because human beings had a funny way of thinking. Hallelujah.
6:21
So from generations God has kept the same principle. So because your
6:26
firstborn son belongs to God who is supposed to be the
7:14
Man of God in Deuteronomy 12 the verses 12 to3 says you shall not rejoice sorry you shall
7:21
rejoice before the Lord your God you and your children your sons and daughters your man's servants and your maid
7:26
servants he said and the Levites that is within your gates he repeats again the
7:31
Levites that's within your gates so it means that you cannot choose. Listen to me, listen to me, listen to me. It means
7:38
that you cannot choose to go and support somebody far away, somebody you don't
7:44
know. You know, you know there are Ghanaians when when all these international ministers are having program, they go against our behavior.
7:51
We as a people do not understand these things. So um today if you didn't know I'm
7:57
teaching you the less within, he didn't say without, he said within your gates. For as much as he has no partner or
8:03
inheritance with you, take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy bent
8:09
offerings in every place that thou seeest, but offer it where God has
8:15
instructed you to take it. Amen.
8:21
There are few principles I want to establish as I build upon that revelation of honoring God.
8:29
And so from time immemorial, God's will is that those that preach the word of
8:34
God must be fed from the altar of God. Why?
8:40
Our brother works in a bank. He's a banker. Imagine if he's a banker. He goes to work every day at the bank but goes for
8:47
his salary in the market. How is he going to be responsible and
8:53
dedicated a service in the logical representation for people
9:00
to find value for which they labor in there must be reward coming from that labor that's the human attitude and God
9:07
who created us human understood that principle and instituted a welfare system for priesthood in his
9:17
in his lifetime. [Music] And so it is important to understand
9:24
these things that your man of God didn't choose to become a man of God on his own. I'm I
9:29
know there are people have chose to be called man of God on their own. I know but I'm saying that
9:35
I am actually discussing God's mind with you. So the idea is to follow what God says, not to pay attention to the
9:42
abnormalities. Amen. So number one, men of God are born into a life of exclusive
9:47
service. When you are born a man of God, you don't go on retirement. Hello, you can leave active duty, but
9:54
you don't go on retirement. You die a man of God.
9:59
It's the only work that you never have a day off. The only work you never have a break
10:07
because you can be with your beloved girlfriend or beloved wife and people's
10:13
needs will become apparent to you. You can be in your own home and then you can
10:20
be eating breakfast or lunch and God is revealing a member's trouble to you and
10:26
telling you to start praying. Living a life of priesthood means denying the very
10:33
beautiful necessities of life from your own family to make sure that others do
10:39
not fail. Pastors are given by God. They don't make themselves pastors.
10:46
And again, I'm not referring to every other pastor. I'm referring to the ones that God has called. Jeremiah 15 says,
10:53
"Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee." and before thou camest forth
10:58
out of the womb, I have sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the
11:04
nations. This means that we are not people that just come into this world
11:10
and then choose to be a pastor. We're born to be a pastor.
11:15
[Music] Yesterday I had a chance to meet some of my schoolmates and they were we were talking and an
11:22
information came out and we're discussing how our parents raised us and I I was saying that for me I was
11:29
traumatized a lot but I do not know why.
11:34
Number one my mother would never forgive me for a mistake I make you know
11:40
when I make a mistake I must be reprimanded only me. It looked as if I was her target at some point. I believe
11:47
that I probably carried my father's hair and looked like my father a bit. So anytime she was angry my father, I felt
11:53
the branch. I I came up with so many theories to live through it as a young boy.
11:59
And then at some point in time to I exhibited certain things in me that also frightened my family. As a young boy, I
12:06
could give prophecies before they happened. I could see things before they happened and tell them. In fact, my mother would wait to serve my father
12:12
food and then he'll bring a table and let me sit by my father. They said, "David, where did your father go today?" And for some reason, I'm able to
12:18
describe it all. So the first they were afraid of me. They saw I was strange as a little boy.
12:25
So they wanted to find out what was the problem. Was he a witch? So they will bring all manner of people to come and find out whether I'm a witch, whether I
12:32
can. My father would do the same to me. If you want to find out where his wife went to, he would ask me, "Where did your your mother go today?" At some
12:39
point in time they were doing this to me. I did not know as a little boy as little as five four years I didn't know
12:45
what was happening. By six years I could talk. Yes. By six years I could talk. So I they wanted to ask questions and you
12:51
say done kids say dest things you know they say things that you don't expect them to say.
12:57
So this was becoming a problem. Then I don't remember my mother told me this.
13:03
There was this Catholic priest who came to our home and he came to stay there for one week.
13:08
And the Khaled priest prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed. At the end of the week, he didn't eat. He called me, my father, my
13:15
mother down. I said, "Protect this boy because God will use him greatly in the future. And there are many eyes that
13:22
will try and fight him. So don't see it."
13:28
My father's house was a story building. Was down there. He was staying down there alone in that cage. He prayed for
13:34
he prayed for a week and then I don't all I remember is I sitting in front of somebody who was wearing a kashock.
13:39
That's what I remember and I said you remember that man when you were little but I said yes I remember something like that. He said that was the man that told
13:46
us what God wants you to do. And I asked this on my mother's third bed because I was terrified when I did
13:52
something. My mother wouldn't beat me. Normal beating that they just beat you with some cane and you go and sleep. Those days they
13:59
were a type of water hose. It was as thick as my thumb. One side the the the thickness the lining was as thick as my
14:06
thumb hose. So she used that to be just cut a small
14:13
piece. That's why she'll beat me and my skin will swell, my back will swell. So, I dare not offend her. I mean, I'm
14:19
trying to be perfect every step of the way, you know. I'm just trying my best.
14:25
Then my friends asked me why I never drank alcohol. I said, "My father, my father picked me up from school." I
14:31
think about 7, 8 years old. They picked me up from school and went to his friend's house. They spend the whole day talking, drinking beer.
14:38
I was hungry. A little bit. I was hungry. The man
14:47
hungry. I came to my father. I was crying. My then the friend of my father said, "Why don't you take a beer? Beer
14:52
is full of food and nutrients. David Numbi." And the man gave me some of the glass and blah blah blah blah. I was
14:57
hungry. My father smiled. I didn't say anything. When we got home, my father made four of my brothers. One held my
15:04
hand, the other held my hand, and the other held my feet. And my father came me 39 lashes of the cane. My father beat
15:11
me as if I was an arm robber. Every time I see a bottle of alcohol, I'm terrified. I'm petrified that I
15:18
don't want to see it again. And though these things were crude and painful, I
15:23
love my parents for what they did for me. You know, I took my my wife to a dinner
15:29
for a boss I was working Indian boss and they were all laughing at me why I don't drink alcohol. Remember
15:35
my wife's father was even worried why I never drink alcohol? Don't I have any problem for which I will use alcohol? I
15:40
said, "No, I just I just don't know how to drink alcohol."
15:45
But though these steps were things I never understood. When my mother was dying, I asked my mother, "Why did you put treat me like that? I mean, I had to
15:53
clean my little brother's bedroom. I had to wash. I had to cook my own food. At the age of 10:00, 10 years, you were
15:58
making me cook food and stuff. Why were you doing this to me?" They said, "You were different from our children. We
16:04
were told we had to do everything possible for you to be different." Then the man my mother said you have
16:10
found the living God. Another thing my mother said before she closed her eyes and I said you have found the living God. Swear to me you will never depart
16:17
from this God you have found.
16:23
So these are some small I keep in my pocket having been born a little boy not
16:30
knowing what I am or who I am but understanding that the will of God for
16:35
me was to serve him. Let me share with you some personal things I also saw on my own without my
16:42
father and my mother. Every now and then I would see somebody come and sit with me and talk with me. He had a bright
16:50
light over him but the voice was familiar. The voice was comforting and supporting and sometimes he would come
16:56
in a company of angels and they would come around and sit. This is not when I'm sleeping. This is when I'm sitting down
17:02
and then he will speak to me. He will tell me the things he wants to use me to do in the future concerning his work. I
17:08
always didn't understand. I was always confused. I asked questions. I asked my mother, "Am I borrowed from somewhere?"
17:13
Ah, do you know that when I grew up, I went to the the the maternity home I was
17:20
born called Vessentia maternity home at home. I went ask them pull the records, let me see whether it was my mother who
17:25
gave birth to me. I didn't believe because I was treated very differently. I I was treated extremely different. You
17:30
know, at the age of seven, I will walk from Patas to Sten as mental here. Yes. The this whole place was a thick bush. I
17:37
walk alone. My mother say pray the God who created you will protect you. Walk through it.
17:43
You walk with me and you think I'm reasonable. This kind of unreasonable faith I've been practicing from my childhood. Some people that look at me,
17:49
they think they can scare me or threaten me and then I'll just cave. Uh they don't know I've been toughened from my
17:55
childhood from all the things that I've experienced. None of them understand it. Hallelujah. But today I want to share a
18:00
few with you. I wasn't sure I was my father and my mother's child. That one day I wasn't really sure. So I asked who
18:07
signed my bed? I said your father. I said really? So my father is James Mar say yes. Why are you the woman? Why am I
18:14
asking? I said who is my mother? Please tell the truth. Did they come and borrow me from here? They said no this is you.
18:19
This is the day you were born. This is the time you were born. I delivered you. She even could remember where my birth
18:24
mark was. That's why I kept quiet. Said are you not my grandamson? Yes, I know where your birth mark is. Said you were
18:32
born around 12:00. You were a special child. When the day you were born, we all knew you were different. Said, I I
18:38
delivered all your mother's children. Said, I delivered all your mother's children, but you were different out of
18:44
all of them. I said, hey. I kept quiet and I went and I kept in my pocket every day.
18:52
So pastors are born. The Bible says God said he will give us pastors
18:57
after his heart. Isaiah 49:5 says, "Now says the Lord that formed me from the womb to be his
19:04
servant." We are not made out of life
19:22
that we could prosper. He called us. We didn't even believe in ourselves. He called us. Amen.
19:29
So the Bible says, "Now says the Lord have formed me from the womb to be his servant to bring Jacob again to him.
19:35
Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the Lord and my God shall be my strength." Amen.
19:42
Isaiah was saying that even though I am not c I have not been having opportunity to stand before Israel as his own
19:50
prophet, God called me from my mother's womb to be his servant. Galatians
19:56
1:15-16 says, "But when it pleased God, when it what it pleased God, who
20:02
separated me from my womb, my mother's womb, and called me by his grace to
20:08
reveal his son in me that I might preach among the heathen, I immediately conferred not with flesh
20:16
and blood." This is Paul speaking. said, "I came to a realization at one point in my time that though I was working for
20:23
the Jews as an official assassin sent to go and kill fellow believers in Jesus
20:30
Christ,
20:38
become the firstborn among many brethren." So God still wants to call so many people into priesthood and Christ
20:44
will become the firstborn out of the priesthood family of God. Are you with me? Okay. So, the Bible says um moreover
20:52
whom that he did predestinate he also called and whom that he called them he
20:57
also justified and to whom he justified he also glorified. Amen.
21:05
Number two, God by the holy blood of his only begotten son has reconciled us to
21:10
himself as sons. Are you with me? God by the holy blood of his only
21:17
begotten son has reconciled us not as
21:28
received the adoption of sons and because we are sons God has sent forth the spirit of his son into our hearts
21:34
crying aba father wherefore thou art no more a servant but a son and if a son than an heir of God through Christ.
21:44
Are you with me? That same God that reconciled you. I want you to believe this now. Ephesians 15, having
21:51
predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Christ to himself according to the good pleasure of his will. Then
21:58
John 1:12 says, "But as many, not some, as received him, to them gave he power
22:05
to become the sons of God in even unto them that believe on his name.
22:12
Have you seen that same God that made you his son? That made Christ go to the
22:18
cross to die for you.
22:27
That same God is the same God that gives gifts and callings.
22:35
So first I post posted a picture of how God wants you to become. He wants you to become like Jesus Christ. You want to
22:41
become Jesus Christ. That same God created a structure that
22:46
will build you to become like Jesus Christ. That structure to be prepared by people
22:52
with giftings. People called and given giftings and functions
22:58
and abilities to perform the will of God in retrospect to your development as an
23:05
heir of the most high God. Take your time. You seated there. When
23:10
there is no God in the universe, you are supposed to succeed God in heaven and on earth in your family, in your blood and
23:16
your generation. You're supposed to be the voice and the power of God. This is why demons and powers come to challenge
23:22
whether you have arrived, whether you have reached the fruition and the maturity to arrive at this purpose for
23:28
you on the face of this earth. God created a system where he gives birth to people who come to prepare you. people
23:35
whose purpose, whose whole function is not to deliver you, but to prepare you
23:40
to come into the fullness of the measure of stature of Jesus Christ on the face of this earth. Are you following what
23:47
I'm teaching, church? It's very important. Listen, God hasn't called you to follow
23:53
me because I can heal the sick or cast out devils. God has called you to follow me because he wants me to bring to pass
24:00
his dream in your life, his purpose. He wants me to keep teaching you, instructing you, guiding you, correcting
24:07
you until you come to that place where you can walk on water, where you can command the storms and they will seize.
24:14
To come to that place where you call the Lazaruses of your life in the grave after three days of getting rotten to
24:20
come alive and they must come. He wanted you to become the firstborn. He wanted you to become his firstborn, his son.
24:28
Become in become the likeness and image of his firstborn and his son.
24:33
that same God. The third point says that he gives gifts according to our several
24:38
ability. Ephesians 4:113 something and he gave
24:45
some apostles, some prophets, some evangelists and some pastors and teachers for the perfecting
24:53
what? For what? Perfecting of the what? for the work of
24:59
and for the edifying of the body of everything God is doing on the face of
25:05
this earth is because of you. Not even because of me.
25:10
God doesn't care how I feel, what I go through. What he cares more is you, his
25:15
son, his purchase with his blood. And he put generals and men of God to serve
25:21
that cause to make sure you don't stray from that cause all your life.
25:28
And I need you to grasp that that very importantly. It's very very important.
25:33
And because he's doing that till the world comes into the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the son of Jesus
25:40
Christ unto a perfect man and onto the measure and stature of the fullness of
25:46
Christ. Let me try and say this.
26:04
listen, God doesn't want to come and solve problems on the face of the earth. He wants you to solve all the problems. The same reason why he created Adam,
26:11
created man in his own image and likeness to have dominion. God has no time dealing with principalities and
26:16
powers here. He wants you. He wants you, you seated here today to speak to the
26:22
principalities that govern Ghana and say, "No, this is not the way we are going. No more witchcraft, no more jealousy, no more setbacks, no more
26:29
supplanting of people. We want this. We want righteousness over this nation." And these authorities will obey because
26:36
let him have dominion. You see, because you are the official representative of God.
26:42
But you know power only respects what? Power. Huh? When powerful people meet, they know the
26:48
one who is stronger than them. Nobody needs to tell them. So God wants you to come to the perfect measure, not less
26:56
than Jesus Christ, the perfect measure, the fullness of the nature of Christ. So he gives you pastors to do this work.
27:03
Jeremiah 3:15 says, "And I will give you pastors according to my heart who shall
27:09
feed you." The function of your pastor is to feed you. What kind of feeding is he feeding? Is it information? Is he
27:16
feeding you with the rumors of what the witches are doing at night against you? Is he feeding you with plans and scheme
27:22
of darkness that was conceded 30 minutes ago against you? No. The purpose of your pastor is to give you knowledge and
27:29
understanding of God's word and the world around you.
27:36
I didn't say that. It's written in black and white in the Bible. So he says, "And I will give you pastors who are after my
27:43
heart. pastors who I know will do every instruction in my heart and these
27:49
pastors will do everything to follow my heart desire and their job will be to
27:54
feed you with knowledge and understanding. Jeremiah 23 verse4 and I will set up
28:03
shepherds. He's writing to pastors over them which shall feed them
28:09
and they shall fear no more nor be dismayed neither shall they be lacking
28:14
says the Lord. It's important to understand Bible says for lack of knowledge, not lack of anointing, not lack of power, not lack of authority,
28:21
not lack of prophetic revelation, not lack of strength, not lack of
28:27
anything but knowledge. For lack of knowledge, my people perish, they are
28:32
destroyed. What you know in God's word
28:39
is equal to how powerful you become.
28:44
Understand? Hello. And so when he says shepherds,
28:50
their purpose was to feed the flock. So the flock will no longer fear, no longer
28:57
will they be dismayed, no longer will they lack anything, says
29:02
the Lord. The book of Galatians 6 6-7 said let him
29:08
that is thought in the word taught in the word make sure to communicate unto him that teaches him in all good things
29:16
then he's quick to also add be not deceived God is not mocked for
29:21
whatsoever a man seweth that shall he reap so your pastor was created for that
29:27
purpose to bring you to that place of the stature and authority of Jesus Christ it doesn't mean when you arrive
29:33
there then he's not important. No. But his duty is to keep you on that path to
29:39
the day God calls him away from this earth and to the day you also are called away from this earth.
29:46
Are you understanding me? And so God makes you responsible to him so that
29:52
he'll be connected to you the more so you'll pay attention the more to him.
29:59
So that he also will pay attention the more to you. Deuteronomy 12:19 says take heed. He
30:06
said make sure he said when somebody say take heed that is a warning. It's a warning. He said make sure I mean be
30:11
very careful. Take heed to thyself that thou forsake not the Levite as long as
30:16
thou liveth. He said make very sure that you do not you do not forsake the ability to take
30:24
care of your pastor all your life.
30:30
So long as there's breath of life in you, you have a duty, you have a
30:35
purpose, you have an existence
30:41
to take care of your pastor. Romans 15:27, if it had pleased them
30:46
verily and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers
30:53
of their spiritual things, their duty also is to minister unto them in cannal
30:58
things. This is Paul giving a testimony. This is a testimony. This wasn't a declaration. Paul said it pleased them.
31:06
Listen, when Paul went to the Gentiles and he taught them about Jesus Christ,
31:11
the Gentiles were more than happy to provide for Paul.
31:29
So Paul was recounting said it pleased them so much
31:34
that they were like they they acted as they owed me money. They act as they were owing me something. For the
31:40
Gentiles felt that I had made them partakers of spiritual things and so it
31:45
was their duty. said they ministered to me in carnal
31:51
things. You are not the first called to provide for your pastor. Millions before you who
31:59
have died and gone been buried who have walked the face of this earth have always had a purpose
32:06
to provide for their pastors. Matthew 10:7 to10. And as you go to
32:13
preach, saying, "The kingdom of God is at hand, heal the sick, cleanse the
32:19
lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils. Freely have you received, freely give."
32:28
Hallelujah. I don't want to continue. I just want to discuss that part. You see the nature of
32:35
human beings today is forcing several people to commercialize the grace of God.
32:43
You see in this church
33:48
And the woman the woman got scared. He said, "Thank God for the good she did. If she had not done a good to know that
33:54
Elijah has a home to stay in her emergency, where would he have gone for Elijah?"
34:03
So he told the husband please hurry up give me a horse and some men to go with me says is there a problem said there's
34:09
no problem is anything okay with my child said everything is okay it is well the child had died
34:16
and the woman was rushing to Elijah the way the woman was rushing to Elijah the thing shock Elijah when he saw the woman
34:22
coming all protocols were broken [Music] the woman placed the child on the feet
34:28
of Elijah he said did I ask you for a child. Whatever I did for you, did I ever ask
34:33
God for a reward from it? Why will you promise me from God that there can be a child and this child dies
34:42
in my hands? When Gazi saw the woman, the way the woman was coming, guys wanted to stop
34:47
the then say, "Stop. Don't touch her. This woman is really griefed and God has
34:53
hidden her pain from me." Because God wanted to be the one who will repay this woman, not Elijah. But Elijah couldn't
35:00
sit down and wait for God to repay this woman. Elijah wanted something done for nobody can do this for God and and
35:07
struggle. Let us justapose this with the uh with
35:13
the centurion who wanted to seek Jesus to go and heal his servant.
35:19
The the the Jews who were persecuting Jesus at that time put away their difference. They went to Jesus and said, "You must go and you must go and pray
35:25
for this man's servant." Jesus said, "Why?" Said, "This man loves our nation." said why this man has built a temple for us to worship him. Said why B
35:33
said they compelled Jesus they forced Jesus to go. The same Jesus they said they heal with a demon spirit they now
35:38
they say go. And my brothers and sisters when Jesus met the man on the way. The man said
35:46
don't come under my roof. I'm not worthy of your roof but I'm not worthy of your presence in my house. But me I'm a man.
35:52
I'm a general over hundreds of soldiers. When I command them to go they go. only command the sickness to leave my servant
35:58
to go. Jesus looked at the man and said indeed in all of Israel I've never met such fate. Jesus now knew the man was
36:05
more than worthy. He said go your servant is well. And as he went on the way his people came rushed rushing and said your servant has not died. Why was
36:12
the man asking for help for his servant or himself? People who are able to see eye to eye
36:17
with God's word and do what is right. They are uniquely different. Hallelujah.
36:24
And so Elijah locked the door, took the baby and began to do the things Elijah do. He prayed, commanded the body.
36:33
He put his sick the stick upon the child. Budding, he put his cloak upon the child. Budding, the child is still
36:42
100% die. The child was cold and dead.
36:48
My Bible said Elijah prayed to God and he went and lied upon the child.
36:54
He put his mouth on the dead boy. He put his hands and chest lying on the boy and
37:00
the Bible say breathe life into the boy and the boy came alive.
37:05
I like for showmanship
37:12
and take a child [Music] display.
37:19
But when the child wasn't getting up, the guy was afraid. But he kept on. And when God honored his
37:26
prayer and brought the child alive, the Bible said the woman took the child. The
37:32
woman took the child and was excited. and left
37:37
thankful to God. This day I want us to take cue from the
37:42
Shunomite woman and people who go lengths and breadths to make sure that
37:48
God's servants are not frustrated, are not destroyed, are not broken down, are
37:53
not impoverished for obeying God. Who make sure to strengthen the hands of these men of God
38:00
know for sure that God sees whatever you do firsthand
38:06
and values that attitude. and every protocol grace required for
38:14
your
38:27
honor your head and let us pray.
38:38
The Bible says two things. He that observe the wind will not so
38:44
sometimes you can look like your pastors. You can look at the way they dress and everything.
38:50
You can look like me who is fat overfed by his wife and says
38:55
hallelujah. But they need it. Hallelujah.
39:01
And they are important for the work of God.
39:08
[Music] So don't observe the see the need to sow.
39:15
See the need to sow that it is better to obey than to sacrifice. Seek opportunity to give every now and
39:22
then. build a habit to provide for your pastor
39:28
and to provide for his family and see a whole new level of grace,
39:34
provision, protection and help chase after you in Jesus name.
39:42
Amen. I want you to take out your offering
39:48
before we take the pastor's appreciation. Sorry.
39:54
Oh, okay. Yes. I want you to take I'm sorry. Thank you so much. Thank you so
40:00
much. I have I have lost focus of what I'm doing. I'm sorry. Please take out your offering, not pastor's
40:06
appreciation, your offering, church, and speak over it. Speak that you should go and come back.
40:12
Measures pressed down, shaken together, and running over. And after you speaking on your offering
40:17
and seed, believing that there is no nothing wasted in God's house.
40:29
Give it. Shall we call upon Auntie Fostina and
40:36
Lady Enma to come and take our offerings for us?
40:50
Were you blessed? You blessed the sermon I taught you. Exactly.
40:57
[Music] The the hardest sermon for me to preach always is by I don't know why it's so
41:04
hard. It sounds like stomach direction preaching. So sometimes I find it hard to preach
41:10
it, but God keeps insisting I should teach it. Amen.
41:18
[Music]
41:33
[Music]
41:38
Oh my. [Music]
41:47
Oh, you are my
42:02
you are.
42:08
[Music] [Laughter]
42:16
Oh, you might
42:22
[Music]
42:31
you might
42:52
It is time for our pastors of appreciation offering. So whatever
42:59
pastor's appreciation you brought, can I have the basket to receive it in the name of God?
43:06
If you don't have, you can take an envelope and put it in whatever you brought for God. Amen.
43:16
[Music]
43:25
[Music]
43:36
Speak over your seed. [Music] Speak over your seed. Our
44:06
structure is notice that keep that path.
44:13
You see how the pastor appreciation is scheduled right after a monthlong prayer.
44:20
It's a spiritual exercise. When we take money in this church, it is a spiritual exercise.
44:26
The next important activity in the
44:59
small video but um I think we can move on. We can move on. Go to the poster.
45:08
Go to the poster. Not this poster. Yes. Thank you.
45:13
All right. So, can we stand on your seat and begin to pray?
45:22
Just stand up with your seed. Can I have the basket myself?
45:28
I'll give it back to the elders and stuff to to count it. But hey, okay. While without the hand is the same. I
45:36
thank you, Lord.
45:48
A day will come we'll use bottle bottle to collect it. Don't worry. Hallelujah. A day will come. Hallelujah.
45:54
We'll live to see all those days in our lives. You ready? Are you ready? I want you not to give
46:01
just giving sick this year, but give that God will turn something around in your life. That God will use
46:08
this to bring it to pass. When I wanted to marry my wife, there
46:13
was so much opposition against it. There was everything that was impossible
46:19
that was against us. So, one of the things I did was every
46:25
pastor's appreciation, I would sw a seed and I tell God, "This is a woman I want to marry. If it's your will, let me
46:32
marry her." But Lord, I like to marry her.
46:39
[Music] I do not know how it happened but
46:44
as I speak now impossibility has become possibility by the grace of God we have four kids
46:53
it didn't mean when we married the troubles it didn't mean the oppositions ceased
46:58
but God was faithful when I saw this in other pastor's name
47:05
so I want you to s this the purpose that drives you this year. That's my
47:11
inspiration. Whatever purpose is driving you, it's between you and God. I I can't come in. What I'm going to do is I'm
47:18
going to lend my faith in agreement with you that what you have desired, God
47:23
should establish it on the face of this earth. In the name of the Father
47:29
and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
47:34
Amen. Please bring your seed.
47:41
This is my desire. [Music]
47:47
God bless you.
47:52
Elder, please. Elder, please. [Music]
48:00
I worship you, Lord. I worship you
48:06
[Music] all that I
48:11
give me. I give you praise. I give
48:17
you praise and Lord that I adore
48:27
is in you. Jesus is in you.
48:36
Lord, I give you my heart. I give you my soul.
48:43
[Music] I lay for you alone.
48:49
Every breath that I take, every moment I wait,
48:57
Lord have your way, Lord. I give you my heart.
49:05
I give you my soul. I give you my soul. I live for you.
49:10
I live for you alone. Every breath that I'll take,
49:18
every moment I'm awake, Lord, have your
49:26
me.
49:39
[Music] May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,
49:45
the love of God, and the sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us
49:50
now and forever more. Amen.
