Every Star Wars film will feature a character saying "I've got a bad feeling about this," every Pixar film will have "A113" pop up somewhere, and every film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will have a Stan Lee cameo. It's just one of those things that fans came to expect, and Lee clearly loved appearing alongside the characters he helped create, which he did up until his death in November 2018.
