PT vs PTA Which should you choose to become

PT vs PTA - Should you become a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant?
Both a PT and PTA can earn over $100,000/yr.
Both a PT and PTA can move into management positions.
Both a PT and PTA can work in nearly all clinical settings.
The main reason to choose PTA over PT is if you truly love the patient care aspect and you always want to be involved in daily patient treatment. PT's tend to spend more time performing the initial evaluation, developing the plan of care, and overseeing the execution of the plan of care. Whereas a physical therapist assistant tends to spend more time actually delivering each patient care treatment.
