hey and welcome to the
0:09
channel so a look at this building rwe
0:13
generation
0:15
UK in ferrybridge
0:18
so I've had a look on
0:21
Google and apparently this place is
0:25
permanently
0:28
closed and there is ferrybridge
0:31
workshops on Google showing the same
0:34
place I was driving past and saw the big
0:37
Union Jack flying on the top I think
0:40
it'll look really good on drone yeah
0:42
there's a big signage when you're coming
0:44
into the driveway of the
0:47
place all the way up there we got
0:51
security
0:52
Hut there a more rwe
0:58
signage I will
1:00
hey kicked a big brick on the
1:04
pavement so walk right down to the gate
1:06
the public accessible
1:08
area and see what they
1:18
say there we got rwe generation UK no
1:22
entry to authorized persons trespasses
1:25
will be
1:26
prosecuted and through the gate
1:31
you've got the
1:34
rwe ornament which looks like an part of
1:38
an engine or a
1:39
turbine another sign in the
1:43
background telling
1:46
you all the information you need to see
1:49
got safety on site
2:00
see what else we can see from up
2:12
here not a lot really from this
2:16
side you have got the main entrance and
2:19
a 9 and 3/4 speed limit
2:22
sign hey up yeah good you let's get off
2:26
the RO I'm not going to get not going to
2:27
get run
2:28
over yeah just get off the road what
2:32
what's your channel name sir pardon your
2:34
channel name lbl lbl yeah just having a
2:38
quick look of driving pass Anda big flag
2:41
yeah what is this place now it's
2:44
actually a power station you know power
2:46
generated company RW
2:49
generation right just to come over
2:51
closer so I can he you be
2:53
back we are actually you know generating
2:57
power from here and it goes to different
3:02
uh uh grid you know yeah and then
3:05
distributed among the houses toout the
3:08
England and everywhere oh fair enough
3:10
when I just had a quick look on um
3:12
online when I was walking down after
3:13
seeing it parking up it says RW here
3:16
permanently closed it's basically a
3:18
German company to be honest yeah oh
3:20
right yeah so we are BR we are just uh
3:26
trying to uh generate uh renew from
3:29
Renewables you know from wind and from
3:31
solar and from uh through uh Hydro so we
3:35
are generating power from different
3:38
sources and that's what we do all right
3:42
so that's actually pretty cool is that
3:44
yeah does anyone as um anybody else that
3:46
has been down to yeah we have been a lot
3:49
of people working inside yeah yeah yeah
3:51
enough hundred of people yeah what about
3:53
anybody got down filming and videoing
3:55
and things like that no to be honest you
3:58
uh i' I've seen for the first time you
4:00
know all right oh brilliant nobody comes
4:03
so often you know to be honest yeah well
4:05
I'm only I'm only wearing this cuz it's
4:06
cool no it's it's fine it's as far as
4:08
you doing a picture from doing
4:11
everything from outside it's perfectly
4:12
fine sir yeah um I'm going to put the
4:14
Drone off and take maral shots just to
4:16
let you know so if you see me stood
4:17
there for a bit looking at something El
4:19
I'm doing has to be a certain yeah 2
4:21
less than 250 it's a 249 perfectly fine
4:24
it's a it's a DJI Mini 2 SE if you if
4:28
you was wanting to know what model it
4:29
was no worries no worries so it's got
4:31
everything it needs on it so like
4:33
brilliant thank you very much thank you
4:34
very much um thank when I've done it I
4:37
me to take an aial photo and put it on
4:38
Google yeah it's fine when when I've
4:40
done that do you want to see it yeah
4:41
yeah oh are used in in there yeah yeah
4:44
I'll I'll give you a knockout window
4:45
when I'm done I'll show you a picture
4:47
it's fine it's fine I'm I'm working in
4:48
I'm working here yeah once you done just
4:51
do the and I'll you going to go inside
4:54
yeah want to yeah well to be honest you
4:56
know U they won't love you and to do
5:00
yeah no I'll I'll turn the cameras off
5:01
inside yeah yeah I'll turn the cameras
5:03
off inside and I'll ask him if I can
5:04
take just some pictures well well to be
5:07
honest the management because you know
5:09
you'll have to take an appointment
5:10
before coming to
5:12
the the building inside to be honest
5:14
yeah okay no that's fine I'll just stay
5:16
outside but thanks than offer like I'd
5:18
love to but you know just to save save
5:21
people's headaches fine I'll stay
5:23
outside and just yeah you can do
5:25
whatever you want uh on the other side
5:28
of the door yeah it's fine to brilliant
5:30
thank you very much yeah so when I've
5:31
when I've taken the aerial photo yeah
5:33
I'll let you down I'll show you it yeah
5:35
sure thank you thank you cheers
5:39
byebye oh budy hell absolutely fantastic
5:43
again nearly got inside for a t but so I
5:46
don't want to go in and push my luck and
5:49
upset him so I will stay out here I will
5:50
fly the I will check on drone assist now
5:53
see if it is legal to fly I'm pretty
5:55
sure it is and then if it is clear we we
6:00
shall be and we will check to the skies
6:05
check on rone assist and it is all clear
6:07
to fly there's some of the lovely
6:09
outwork they' got
6:11
outside Fey Bridge powering over a
6:16
century so right we'll head on to the
6:19
main gates and security
6:21
booth the only issue we have got is this
6:23
big py on in front of us so we will go
6:26
higher than
6:28
that but again
6:30
another fantastic response want a
6:45
roller so just get higher than the
6:48
pylons we'll get over the top of them
6:50
and then we'll drop it back down low
6:55
again right so 95 m above the pylon
7:03
right we're over the top
7:07
now look at the size of facility
7:50
nice little train yard at the
7:54
back next to the river
8:01
[Music]
8:09
I'm stood up there just at the
8:17
entrance so I've got some Works going on
8:31
I know I thought they were
8:45
jcbs there's a train see the train
8:49
coming from
8:54
dra but they're trying to go more
8:56
renewable
8:59
and go wind and
9:02
solar
9:16
Hydro there's a guy there in Highway
9:18
walking this way but he's still a good
9:21
200 M
9:23
away from where I
9:25
am which is
9:30
just stood
9:37
there be on the security
9:40
booth there's a union jet oh can they
9:44
can they change your flag from the
9:52
inside zoom out
9:54
again and we'll come forward and see if
9:57
we can see we'll drop it down a bit
9:59
lower
10:00
soon as we're on that side of the pylons
10:47
oh no I thought you could change it from
10:48
the inside
11:01
oh look at that Majestic Union Jack
11:04
floing In The
11:05
Wind let's get a bit Clos to that
12:03
right so I'm going to pull the camera
12:04
back now and take a picture for Google
12:07
Maps they from quite high up from behind
12:09
the pylon we'll show our man and then
12:12
we'll move on to our next
12:15
[Music]
12:22
place oh look at that that's coming
12:25
down Mob dmob form transport
12:30
right well we finished a Drone footage
12:33
I'm just going to go show this
12:37
guy what's going
12:40

12:45
data do you see
12:48
photo yes sir do you see the photo yeah
12:52

12:59

13:01
there you can see all his dirt on his
13:04
screen is he coming
13:10
out there you
13:13

13:15

13:42
best sites I've uh come to view just
13:45
wish there wasn't the pylons there so I
13:47
could get close to the buildings and a
13:48
bit lower I could go underneath them
13:52
