All you have to do is install FileLinked, which is super easy
0:03
And then from FileLinked, you input my FileLinked code, and it'll show you this list here
0:08
And once you see this list, you just press the download button for each individual app in this list, one by one
0:15
and FileLinked will download each app. So I'm just going to download all five apps in this list
0:22
And then when that green bar is filled for each app, I'm going to press the play button on the first app in the list
0:28
which is Cinema HD, I'm going to press always so that FileLynx always uses the package installer
0:35
And then I'm going to press the install button in the bottom right corner to install the first app
0:42
Then we just press done and then we go install the second app. So we press done. Now we go to BTV
0:48
press the center button on the Fire Stick Remote and then press install. Press done
0:53
now we go to TTV install that press done Nova TV and now cat mouse finally we press done on cat
1:04
mouse let's install app starter so I'm going to download that press the install button press
1:11
install and then I'm going to press open and we're going to launch app starter it's just an alternate
1:16
Fire TV home screen. So here are all the apps we have. And what I'm going to do is select an app
1:23
move it to the bottom of the list if I don't want it to appear. What I'm going to do is just
1:28
rearrange these apps. I'm going to put the apps that we installed in this video
1:32
toward the top of this list for easy access for myself And I going to put these apps in order of how well they work So we have Cinema HD we have BTV we have TTV
1:44
Now all that's left is Nova TV, and then we have Catmouse
1:49
So there are the five apps that I showed you how to install in this video
1:52
And after that we have a bunch of other crap. And what I'm gonna do, oh crap
1:58
Okay, so I have my favorite apps in this top row of apps
2:01
But now you see there's all this extra crap that I might not necessarily want to show
2:07
So what I'm gonna do is go over to settings over here and then under settings
2:11
I'm gonna go into this menu here that says hidden apps. So you select hidden apps
2:18
And now I'm just gonna hide everything except these five apps that we installed
2:22
for movies and TV shows. So I'm gonna hide Fire TV settings
2:26
2B, Crackle, YouTube, APK Time, Mirror. And actually I'm going to deselect Fire TV Home
2:33
so I can get back to that easily. I'm gonna press okay. Then I'm gonna go to apps
2:37
And now you can see we only have the apps that I installed in this video
2:41
And now we have Fire TV Home there as well. So that really simplifies your Fire TV usage
2:47
if you really only use it for movies and TV shows, or if somebody else uses your Fire TV
2:53
who's not technically inclined and doesn't wanna use the Fire TV Home screen
2:57
with all that extra crap to try and find the apps that we installed in this video so anyway if you get back to the fire tv
3:06
home screen and you want to relaunch the app starter launcher it should be under recent right
3:10
here and that the icon select that icon to relaunch app starter and now i going to show you how to have have AppStarter launch every time your Fire Stick starts up So the first thing we gonna do is go back to File Link
3:25
So we're gonna go to the Fire TV Home, then we're gonna go to File Link
3:29
and then Continue, and Continue. And now we're gonna hit Dismiss, and then we'll go down to
3:37
we're gonna go down to the app called OnBoot AppStarter. And now we're gonna install OnBoot AppStarter
3:46
And we're almost there. There we go, OnBoot AppStarter. Press the download button on that
3:52
Press the button to install that. Press install. And now we press open
3:56
And it is so simple to use this app. All you do is press the center button
4:00
on the Fire Stick remote, and it's gonna show you a list of all your apps
4:05
And it's actually at the top of this list. There's AppStarter. So I select AppStarter
4:10
And now the App Starter home screen is going to launch every time I start up my Fire Stick instead of the Fire TV home screen
4:17
So that is going to be really cool. Let's check that out right now. So I'm going to hold down on the Home button on the Fire Stick remote
4:24
What I'm going to do here is restart the Fire Stick using the remote
4:27
So I held down on the Home button on the Fire Stick remote to get to this quick menu here
4:31
Then I went to Settings. And then we go down to My Fire TV
4:37
Select that category. Now go down to restart and hit restart. And there we go
4:44
The Fire Stick started up to the app starter screen. So that is super cool
4:48
It totally simplifies my Fire Stick user experience I don have to see all that crap that Amazon forces me to see And now at this point let go launch the first app that we installed which is Cinema HD So
5:00
we hold down on the home button on the Fire Stick remote, and then we see this menu here
5:06
we select apps, and then we press the down button on the Fire Stick remote several times until we
5:12
get to the bottom of this list. And there we see the first app we installed, which is Cinema HD
5:17
So launch Cinema HD, and then you're going to see this screen here
5:24
So I just made a video on how to customize Cinema HD so that you can see more movies on this home screen
5:31
And basically, it just means you go to the settings menu of Cinema HD and then change a couple settings
5:37
I'll put the link to the video that I made on how to customize this app in the description of the video you're watching now
5:43
So anyway, that is Cinema HD. Let's exit out of Cinema HD
5:47
Now we're gonna check out Nova TV. And this is actually becoming one of my personal favorite apps
5:53
because it's simple and reliable. Let's check out the main menu of Nova TV
5:57
You can see we have TV shows, movies, calendar, watch list, history, collection, blah, blah, blah, settings
6:03
So let's check out movies. And it's actually super simple to use this app
6:08
Very intuitive, not a whole lot of extra stuff. So that was our fourth app in the list of five
6:17
So that was the fourth app in our top five Fire Stick apps for movies and TV shows
6:22
Let's check out the fifth app in the list, which is Catmouse. Here's Catmouse, just another TV show and movies app like all these others
6:29
As you can see, it launches just fine. We have movies and stuff like that
