Which is absolutely crazy, given how many things I have worked on over the years, mostly unreleased. It just seems that everything deemed an "official short film" has been a collaborative process. My main released projects are 'Bird, Louise & Somebody Else,' collaborative between Quintana Jones and I, then 'MyDrugsWhereAreMyDrugs' and 'Get Ready With Us!' both collaborative between Tona and I; so this is pretty exciting for me, especially for how good this turned out. All links for those films are listed below btw. This short was something I was HEAVILY on the fence about posting to our Official Film Channel @newworldtwo just because of how hard I went. BUT we are reserving that channel for a specific kind of production, one a lot more meditated and with crew and etc etc, a high class portfolio type thing, which unfortunately this doesn't really count as. All being a similar experience I had with 'Get Ready With Us!' cause I loved how good it was, I just couldn't fully justify it being “New World material.” I am taking these two events as a sign that I am just simply improving, and its really exciting me; so with that revelation, I am really freakin excited to get better and better, until I am fully genuinely confident in posting on the main channel. Mannn I worked so hard on this project… cinematography, editinggg, pacinnggg, color grading, directing, foley/sound design (prob over 90% of the sounds/atmospheres you hear weren’t captured on the shooting days, i explored to find these sounds, wearing headphones and holding a mic), blah blah blah, everything; its all my best performance yet, and i hope i keep saying that }:)
