"Slenderman" Told Them To Stab Their Friend

The Slender Man stabbing occurred in 2014 in Wisconsin, when two 12-year-old girls, Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier, lured their friend Payton Leutner into the woods and stabbed her 19 times to appease the fictional internet character "Slender Man." Believing the attack would make them his "proxies," they left Payton for dead, but she survived and was rescued after crawling to a nearby path.
