Schizophrenic Teen Stabs Her Mom To Save The World

Isabella Guzman was just 18 years old when she thought murdering her mother would save the world. She fatally stabbed her mother, Yun Mi Hoy, 79 times in their Colorado home following escalating conflicts. Diagnosed with schizophrenia, Guzman claimed hallucinations drove her to believe the act would save the world. She was found not guilty by reason of insanity and committed to the Colorado Mental Health Institute.
