Film loving dictator kidnaps his favorite actors

In the late 1970s, North Korean leader Kim Jong-il, obsessed with film, kidnapped South Korean actress Choi Eun-hee and her ex-husband, director Shin Sang-ok. He forced them to make 17 movies under his control. Years later, they were sent abroad to promote their films. They escaped during a film festival and gained asylum in the U.S., eventually returning to South Korea in 1999.
