In 2015, Courtney Barnes went viral after giving a dramatic and hilarious eyewitness interview about a police car crash while on his way to get a “piece of burger.” When the clip was posted online he became an instant meme sensation. But the fame uncovered his past, including a shoplifting charge, which he later turned himself in for. Recently he emerged with another OTT interview during the 2025 California fires.
