Amazon DynamoDB Local Secondary Index - LSI

Amazon DynamoDB Local secondary indexes are indexes that have the same partition key as the table, but a different sort key and queries on the index can span a single partition. Local Secondary Indexes can be created only during table creation and consumes provisioned throughput capacity as part of the base table.
