A few months ago I took a life-changing trip to Iran, one of the most beautiful and highly misunderstood countries on this planet

Here are my top 5 reasons for you to visit this phenomenal country

I absolutely adore Iranian food and the culinary landscape here in Iran is phenomenal and hugely

diverse between the districts. For my trip I had the absolute honor of visiting many different

regions including Tehran the capital, Qom, Kashan, Isfahan, Shiraz, Mashhad which is very close to the

Afghanistan border all of which had some of the best flavoured food I've ever had the joy and

pleasure of tasting. Here are my top dishes that you have to try on your trip to Iran

The sheep has juice and we've got he mashed leg, cheeks, eye. Take a look at these

This is what we're just about to eat. Yeah, look at that. Okay, so we've just driven back to the main market here

and we're inside the carpet bazaar. We're having Dizzy. Yeah, Dizzy. I of course can't make this video

without talking about the people Iranian people are probably some of the kindest people that exist on this beautiful and diverse planet They are so kind genuine warm people and I so blessed and honoured that I got to meet them

not only on my trip in Iran but also across other places in the world

Even despite all of the negative false media accusations and media reports about Iranian people

Iranian people still are strong they are very honorable of their country of their

beauty and for me they definitely stand as some of the kindest people in the

world one tip for you if you're going to Iran is definitely pick up some farsi or

Persian here are some of the basic phrases that you should probably learn

before you go there although it's not compulsory many people in Iran speak

English the literacy rates are extremely high and actually 70% of the population

are below the age of 30 but here are my top phrases that it's good to know before you go to iran

iran really does hold some of the most beautiful mosques and shrines i've ever had the pleasure of

seeing and I'm not joking when I tell you every single view you take in Iran if you're looking at a mosque or a shrine really is just

picturesque and These are the images. I really want to see in the media

These are the images that the world should be seeing from the Imam Zadi Sali shrine in Tehran to the pink the beautiful pink mosque in Shiraz all the way to the shrines in Mashhad

close to the Afghanistan border all in which are just visually and spiritually phenomenal

but the crime rates are so low i promise you i could easily leave my phone at a restaurant

on my wallet and no one would steal it and for me hearing the negative perceptions about iran in

the media and people saying how unsafe it is breaks my heart because it honestly is one of

the most safe countries i've been to and i guarantee the majority of people there are so

kind-hearted and genuine and want to help you and yeah that's one thing i had to clear up in this

video of course is the safety aspect. I've never heard anything good about safety in Iran but I promise you from my experience, my beautiful experience in

this country, it is very safe even for solo travellers. And finally I have to talk about the incredible culture and history here in Iran Now Iran holds some of the most spectacular history and cultural emerging experiences across the world Don forget Iran was part of the legendary Silk Road and you can explore the history and culture throughout the

huge bazaars, visiting the mosque or shrines, talking to the elderly people

talking to younger people and really just exploring the beauty which is held

inside this country really. When I tell you Iran is beautiful, historically

complex with incredible food, kind people. Would you believe me if that was in the news
