Tuna Sandwich Recipe
Tuna Sandwich Ingredients: 1 can (5 ounces) tuna, drained 2 tablespoons mayonnaise 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped 2 tablespoons red onion, finely chopped Salt and pepper, to taste 4 slices bread (whole wheat, white, or your choice) Lettuce leaves, tomato slices (optional, for serving) Instructions: Prepare Tuna Salad: In a mixing bowl, combine drained tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chopped celery, and chopped red onion. Mix well until everything is evenly combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Assemble Sandwich: Place lettuce leaves on one slice of bread (if using). Spoon the tuna salad mixture evenly onto the bread slice. Top with tomato slices, if desired. Place the second slice of bread on top. Serve: Cut the sandwich in half diagonally or into quarters, if desired. Serve immediately, or wrap tightly in plastic wrap or foil for later.
