Bring to a Boil: Place the saucepan over medium-high heat and bring the mixture to a boil. Stir the rice once to prevent sticking. Simmer: Once the water reaches a boil, reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan with a tight-fitting lid, and simmer for 15 minutes.
