A Low Country Boil, also known as a Low Country Shrimp Boil, is a classic Southern dish that brings together shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and corn in a flavorful, communal feast. Ingredients:
4 quarts water
1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning (or your favorite seafood seasoning)
1 tablespoon salt
1 pound small new potatoes
4 ears of corn, cut into halves or thirds
1 pound smoked sausage, sliced into 2-inch pieces
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined (leave tails on for easier eating)
1 lemon, quartered
4 cloves garlic, minced
