Ingredients
2 large green apples
1 cucumber
1 lemon
1 bunch of kale (about 2 cups)
1-inch piece of fresh ginger
1 cup of water (or as needed)
Instructions
Preparation: Wash all your ingredients thoroughly. Core the apples and cut them into quarters. Peel the cucumber if it's not organic, then cut it into chunks. Peel the lemon, removing any seeds. Peel the ginger.
Juicing: Using a juicer, first juice the kale, as its fibrous nature will help to extract juice more effectively. Follow with the cucumber, apple, lemon, and ginger. If you don’t have a juicer, you can use a blender; just blend all ingredients with the water until smooth and strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth.
Mixing: Pour the freshly squeezed juice into a jug or glass. Stir well to combine all the flavors.
