Grilled Vegetables Recipe
Introduction
Grilled vegetables are a fantastic way to bring out the natural sweetness and depth of flavor in seasonal produce. This simple yet flavorful recipe requires minimal ingredients and is perfect for a side dish or as a topping for salads and sandwiches. The key is to select fresh, high-quality vegetables and use a light seasoning to enhance their natural taste.
Ingredients
2 bell peppers (red, yellow, or orange), cut into strips
1 zucchini, sliced into rounds
1 red onion, cut into wedges
1 cup cherry tomatoes
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
Preparation
Preheat the Grill: Heat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375-400°F or 190-200°C).
Prepare the Vegetables: Wash and cut the vegetables as indicated. Bell peppers and onions should be in manageable pieces that won’t fall through the grill grates, while zucchini can be sliced into thicker rounds for grilling.
Seasoning
Season the Vegetables: In a large bowl, toss the vegetables with olive oil, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Ensure all pieces are evenly coated.
