Creamed Corn Recipe
Ingredients:
6 ears of fresh corn, husked and kernels removed (about 4 cups of corn)
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup whole milk
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives (optional)
Instructions:
Prep the Corn:
Start by removing the husks and silk from the corn. Using a sharp knife, carefully slice off the kernels from the cob. You should have about 4 cups of corn kernels.
