Ingredients:
1 cup cold water
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon active dry yeast
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, plus extra for dusting
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter, cold
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions:
Prepare the Dough:
In a small bowl, combine cold water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
