I found this flag in the forest and I picked it up because litter is bad, but I want to know what it means

So the official Olympics made a flag quiz on Facebook, but it is compared to Chad and Romania

which obviously have basically the same flag. I think Chad has an ever-so-slightly darker blue

Olympics? Oh, I didn't notice that. My guess is just for small icons, it makes more sense because

the other one's too detailed. Ah, the official flag is the plain one. I did not know that. The

coat of arms version is mandatory only for official buildings and entities. So apparently actually in

Spain, you just find both variations everywhere. How did I not know that yet? I've heard so much

flag trivia. Why complicate things? Australia and New Zealand flag redesign proposals. Oh

They've gone very simplistic with just the two colours. I mean, to be fair, it kind of works, doesn't it

I kind of like it. But I have seen better flag proposals from both countries

particularly the New Zealand silver fern one. That's always nice. Proposed flag of Maine that will be voted on in November

How did the United States get anything else done with all of their redesigns for state flags

It feels like they're just constantly switching them up at the minute. That looks sweet, though. I kind of like it

Cleveland is ready to vote for a new flag. They're at it again. All these US counties, towns, states, cities, they're all switching up their flags willy-nilly

This is red and white specifically, which is incredibly common in flags

It's these four here that are the worst offenders. Monaco and Indonesia are literally just the same flag but different dimensions

but then you throw Singapore in, which I guess gets away with it because this symbol doesn't show up anywhere else

Most flags these days I can instantly recognise, but with Poland, Monaco and Indonesia

I always have to think about it for a second. Qatar and Bahrain, once again, really similar

These days, I have worked out a mnemonic to remember the difference between the two. You're

welcome to use it if you wish, but the way I remember it is that Bahrain, starting with B

is way earlier in the alphabet than Qatar, starting with Q. So because it's a lower number in the

alphabet, it has a lower number of spikes. Because you can see, Qatar has way more of these pointy

little spikes. Turkey and Tunisia, I have also gotten mixed up in videos many times, and people

kick off at me. But I walked past the Tunisian embassy in London and since that moment it's kind

of stuck in my head a little bit more. What the hell did I just come across in Amsterdam? Okay

that looks to me, whoa. I was gonna say the first one looks like a Nordic pride flag but I have no

idea what that is. What's going on there? It's multiple flags stitched together. We've got like an EU flag in there? What is this? That looks like a Argentinian pride flag I guess. Yeah, these are

some really chaotic flags. What is going on there? Right, USA mixed with a pride flag mixed with so

many other things. This is absolute chaos. What is going on? Oh, there's so many as well. I mean

they all kind of look cool, but in a horrible, horrible way. An art project. I think someone was

just feeling a little bit wacky, you know. What's this flag? Oh, that's just a classic Confederate

flag variation, right? That's the old Mississippi State flag. Oh, of course, I've heard that before

And he managed to get Lords back. I watched the whole series, actually. It was a really fun project. And it's nice to see other people still doing it

Yep, that's right. Pan-Celtic flag featuring six Celtic nations, sometimes used by the Celtic League

So I got four out of the six, but I forgot Cornwall and Brittany. I will always forget the Cornwall flag

It's had its fair share of pirates around the Bahamas over the years. Russia. I guess I see what they were going for

I'm sure there'd be no consequences to a really aggressive looking flag in Somalia

But Albedos, once again, that looks cool. I like how they've integrated the pointy things

whatever they're called. But I think my favorite's the Somalian one. Flag of the Polek Municipal District

which is in the Ivanovo region of Russia. That looks incredible. It's a really beautiful looking flag

belgian for beaver and that is a great flag i don't like how his tail's touching the water

maybe that one is that hong kong i'm not sure that looks maybe like portugal but it should be off

center um us flag evolution yeah this is always interesting so start in 1775 with just 13 states

and they had a sort of union flag kind of and they scrapped that quite quickly moved on to the stars

and then they basically just added the stars almost one at a time since i can't believe they

updated the flag each time. Like, they had to do it multiple times a year for a period of time

Look at 36 states. They're having to have these weird gaps, and then 37 states, the gaps go the

other way around. They should have just held out and updated it on a big, nice, even 50, really

New political party in Tamil Nadu, India. Well, I don't know anything about their politics

but I like their two elephants on the flag. So, no, I probably shouldn't say they get my vote
