How many Capital Cities of the World can I name?

There are 197 capital cities in the world, but how many can I name

You've been pestering me to learn all the capital cities of the world for months now

and I've made my way through three continents, but today I want to see how much of those three continents have stuck in my head

and then also how many capital cities from other countries do I just know already? And the answer is not many, but this video will serve as a placeholder to look back on

when I've learned them all in a few months' time. Let's see if I can do most of North America, minus the Caribbean

Well, USA is obviously Washington. There you go. Canada is Ottawa, I think

Ottawa. Yeah, there we go. Sometimes people mix up Toronto and stuff. Mexico is Mexico City, I think

Yes, it is. And then, yeah, I don't really know any of the Caribbean ones. Although maybe Cuba is Havana, I think

Havana? Is it spelled like that? Yes, it is. All right, moving on to South America. We have Quito, or I'm told it's actually pronounced Quito

Then we have Santiago, although I'm told it's actually pronounced Santiago. There you go

We can also do La Paz for Bolivia. We can do when us areas for Argentina

Brasilia with an s there you go for Brazil Uruguay's was Montevideo, I think yep, what's Paraguay's I can't quite remember I'll move on to Suriname which is paramarible or something like that

Maribor, yeah Caracas, that's Venezuela's so what's Colombia's I I can't remember. I'll do Lima for Peru. Oh, Asention. Ascension. It's spelled like..

I'm gonna move on to Europe. I should hopefully be able to get most of these. London, Dublin, we'll do Reykjavik

Vilnius is one as well. That's like Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania. Right now, I can't actually

remember which is which. Riga is the third one as well. There you go. Then we've got Moscow

obviously. And what else is in there? I've done Germany, which is Berlin. Poland is Warsaw

Ukraine is Kiev. Belarus is Minsk. There we go. Turkey is Ankara. What's this one that I'm

missing. Denmark, it'll be Copenhagen, won't it? Copenhagen. There we go. Right, that's all of

these bits of Europe, so now it's just... Why is there still so many countries in Europe? Okay

Greece is that, so that'll be Athens. And then we've also got Budapest. We've got Bucharest

going back to germany i've not done vaduz for lichenstein there you go uh we've not done

Luxembourg, which is Luxembourg City, or just Luxembourg. Bern for Switzerland. There you go

What else is going to be up there? Belgium. That's Brussels. So there you have it. And then

we've done Denmark. We haven't done Amsterdam though. Amsterdam. There you go. All right

good progress. Nearly done all of Europe. I'm missing four in Europe, but it's so tiny that

I can't work out where it is. I don't think I've done Turana for, I think, Albania maybe. Okay

what I'm going to do is I've only got 10 minutes left. So I'm going to move on to Oceania, which is the other continent that I learned, but it was a few months ago, so I've forgotten quite a few

but I can do Wellington for New Zealand. I can do Canberra for Australia. There's also Gurulmud

which is the capital of somewhere. Papua New Guinea is Port Mursby. Then there's also Port

Villa, I think it's called, yeah, which is Vanuatu's capital. I'm now moving on to such

obscure capital cities. Okay, so capital of Nauru is Yaron, I think. Capital of Solomon Islands is..

I don't know. Capital of Fiji, can we do that one? I don't think so. All right, now let's just do some ones that I might know

So capital of Sri Lanka, I think Colombo is an acceptable answer

Yes, even though what comes up is whatever this is. Capital of India, is it New Delhi

It is New Delhi. Capital of China is Beijing. Capital of Japan is Tokyo

Tunisia, I know that one's Tunis, I think. What else can we get

All right, we have 69 of 197. I mean, it would be amazing to get to 100, but I don't think I can get another 31

South Africa. You know what? I don't actually know it because I thought it was Johannesburg, but that's just a large city

of Singapore just Singapore? I think it maybe might be. Yeah, it is. Right, I have a final five minutes

Solomon Islands, Marshall Islands, Majora, Majora or something like that. No, I can't get the spelling, but another one's come to me

It's like, it sounds similar to Palestine. It's Palikir. Yes, there you go

I don't even know where that's the capital of, but I'm glad that I got it. So the capital of Tuvalu, the way I remembered it was it sounded like Fun and Fruity

So it's Funifuity, something like that. Funafuity, yeah. There we go. Oh, Egypt

It's Cairo. Of course. There's got to be some other little countries in this last three minutes that are just famous

and well-known. I can't say any. What's the capital of United I remember

It's not Dubai. It's Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi. Don't know how to spell it

know what? I'm quite happy with. Because go back six months, I probably knew like 20, you know? And I know some really weird obscure ones like Funafuti and Palikra

which is going to be so weird because there's so many obvious ones that I've missed. But anyway, here we go
