Doring obscure flags from memory. Okay, this wheel literally has every single country on it
0:03
There's so many countries that you can't even read any of them. But anyway, let's give it a spin and hope for the best
0:08
Now, there is also a lot of territories on here, so hopefully we don't get any of those
0:12
Okay, first one. Dominican Republic. Oh, God. Okay, I'll give it a go. So, Dominica, that's the one with the purple parrot
0:20
Dominican Republic is not the one with the purple parrot. What on earth does the Dominican Republic flag look like
0:26
Alright, the colours red and blue are coming to my head, but I can't think of anything else
0:30
Right, I don't think this is gonna go very well at all, so please do not be mean to me in the comments down below
0:35
I can't believe this is the first one. Right, that looks good. I'm pleased with that, yeah, there we go
0:40
And then red, red. I'm scared that I might be accidentally drawing the Panama flag right now
0:45
I don't know what else to do. I think there's a symbol in the middle, but I don't know what that symbol is, so we'll do that
0:50
Very nice. Okay, first, once a bit of a fail, can we please put me out of my misery and reveal the actual Dominican Republic flag
0:56
Oh, okay. So obviously my symbol's totally wrong. I mean, in all fairness, zoom in, there is a cross in the middle
1:03
and as you can see, I also have a cross over the top of my star, but there is no star, and I didn't add any of the foliage or anything
1:09
I've got the colours and the squares, but they are actually in the wrong place
1:14
Also, editor Kai, please add the Panama flag on screen. You can see why I was worried about getting them mixed up there
1:20
And I think that's where my star came from but overall we're gonna be strict today. Let's say no points for round one
1:25
Okay, let's spin again. This is fun. I've not done this in ages. Here we go. What have we got next? The next flag is Gabon
1:33
Oh god The title of this video is not lying. Right. What do I do now? What does the Gabon flag look like
1:40
Don't get it mixed up with the Gambia flag. So I think I think it's three colors and those colors are red green and
1:49
blue, but there are white separating lines in the middle of them. Yeah. Oh my God. I feel like I
1:56
might be onto something. Probably got the colors wrong. I might have a little play around, you know, let's change that to green and let's change that one to red. How's that look? I don't know
2:04
Let's undo that. Maybe I'll stick with the original. Okay. Yeah. I'm going to stick with the original. Computer, please reveal the actual Gabon flag. I was thinking of the wrong country
2:13
Am I thinking of the Gambia? Let's have the Gambia flag. Yes, I'm thinking of the Gambia
2:17
And even if it was the gambia, I got the order of the colors wrong Of drawing flags entirely from everywhere is really difficult guys
2:24
All right, that's still nilpla great stuff. Hey magic wheel. Can I have an easy one now, please? Here we go
2:30
What's it gonna be? And it is Australia, you know what i'll take it i'm sure I will still get the australian flag wrong
2:38
But we're gonna give it a go. So step one draw a union jack now, let's do that logically
2:42
We start with the blue background followed by a thick bit of white Yes some white diagonals Yes There we go And then the red over the top Have I done this right
2:54
I need red on these bits as well, don't I? Yeah, yeah, yeah. That brings it together. All right, step one complete
2:58
I've drawn a union flag, hopefully. Step two, we need... No, that's not right
3:03
We need blue. There we go. That's more like it. I think now I literally just need stars
3:08
and I'm going to try five stars just like that. We could probably squeeze one up the top
3:13
Yeah, we'll do five stars and I just need to fill them in and I think that is the end
3:18
but it feels like I'm missing something really, really obvious. It feels like I've got too much blue
3:22
Maybe I just need a darker blue. That's what's maybe thrown me off. I'm gonna try darker blue
3:27
Hmm, maybe the Union Jack needs to be a lighter blue? Is- No, that's not right, is it
3:31
Let me fix this. There we go. Okay, I'm gonna lock that in and I'm really scared that I've done something stupid there
3:36
Okay, let's reveal the actual Australian flag. Yes, that's actually fine. My union jack obviously has room for improvement with the thickness of the white
3:44
but you can't take any points away there because it's just a quick paint job, all right? The stars aren't actually the correct kind of star
3:49
It would have been better kind of combining a few, and obviously they're not in the perfect location either
3:53
This fella down here is, though. There's definitely things we could have improved, so let's give ourselves half a point
3:59
Why not? Okay, let's spin the wheel again, and let's have another obscure country
4:03
Australia, obviously, was a little bit easy, but I needed my confidence building back up
4:07
Iraq. Okay, that's fine. How do you draw the flag of Iraq? So unfortunately, there's a few similar countries
4:13
Iraq, Iran, and even Egypt all have quite a similar design. So I'll start with the colours and hope that something else comes to me
4:21
Right, I think the colours are black in the middle. And then it's maybe red at the bottom and green on top
4:27
That looks right, I think. Does it? Let's try red on the top. That looks right. There we go
4:32
I'm sure I've just screwed myself there. The Iran flag is the one with all of the Arabic white text along the top here and along here
4:39
I don't think the iraq flag has that I think instead it just has some symbols here
4:43
And I think the symbols mean ala. Obviously, I don't speak or understand arabic
4:47
So I don't know what to make the symbols look like but I think they're kind of like that
4:51
Let's just center it a bit. Here we go and then clean up our mistake, right
4:56
I'm gonna lock that in, you know I'll be really sad if i've got the green and the red the wrong way around though. Okay, please reveal the iraqi flag
5:02
Here we go Ah Right i've got the colors wrong. I genuinely did not expect that i've gotten mixed up
5:09
with another Middle Eastern flag there. Look at the pictures. It seems like I've combined the flag of Afghanistan
5:14
the flag of Egypt, and the flag of Iraq. So do you know what? I guess that's just half a point
5:19
Broaring flags from memory is really difficult. Most people in the world
5:23
wouldn't be able to get as close as I did. I'm just saying, okay? Let's spin another one, please
5:28
I just want one perfect point. I need to nail it. Come on I gonna take something easy if I giving it What have we got Libya Okay Wait hang on a second Is it the Libyan flag that I accidentally drew These are the Libya colours are they not I think that might be what I done So all I need is the Muslim star and moon
5:44
which I'm going to attempt to draw now. There we go. And then we just need a little Star of David type star
5:51
Yeah, look at that. That looks like the flag of Libya. All right, let's reveal the actual Libyan flag
5:55
And there it is. Those are the colours that I was thinking of. Okay, that is a full point
6:00
Thank you very much. All right, let's spin again. What are we going to get this time? And it is, oh my goodness, the Seychelles
6:10
Now, I recently learned a trick for the Seychelles. It is the flag of Hungary and the flag of Romania combined
6:18
So prepare yourselves for I'm about to absolutely nail this. We're going to start off with the blue
6:23
We're doing the Romanian flag first. Fill that in. There we go. And then the next colour on the Romanian flag is, of course, a bit of yellow
6:29
Now it's the size of each triangle that isn't going to be perfect, but we can hopefully get pretty close
6:35
Okay, there's our yellow. Already that doesn't look right. Let's try changing to a darker blue
6:39
That's too dark. Let's go back to a lighter blue. Have I already got the order wrong
6:43
Next I was going to do red, but I think I've gotten mixed up. Oh no, no, no. That looks like Romania
6:47
So then the Hungary flag is green, white, and red. So we leave a gap for the white
6:52
And now we just need to do green. There we go. And obviously I've made the white way too big
6:58
So let me see if I can correct that by making the red bigger. Oh, is that right
7:04
Something doesn't feel quite right. I think I've done something wrong there, but I can't work out what it is
7:08
I can't remember what the Romanian flag looks like. Yeah, we're going to have to stick with that and let's work out what I've done wrong
7:12
because it definitely doesn't look quite right. Seychelles flag. There. That explains
7:20
God, that is so unbelievably annoying. It's the Romanian flag on the top and the Hungarian flag on the bottom
7:26
I knew it didn't look right and that is exactly why right I need to fix that quickly because otherwise my brain will just have a meltdown
7:33
Oh man, that makes so much more sense and look at that just like that. It just looks just like it
7:38
Oh, don't give me the points. I don't want any points. Okay, let's spin again
7:43
And while it's spinning i'm gonna get that smudge off my glasses. The next country is
7:48
Nicaragua, okay? Oh dear. We did not need that right now Okay, I should be able to get the basics, which is a blue and a bit of white just like that
7:58
Do you know what? I think the blue is even thicker than that. We're gonna come in a bit closer
8:02
There we go. Okay. So what is the symbol on the nicaraguan flag? I don't know
8:06
I think el salvador's got like a pyramid honduras has a h written in stars, but nicaragua
8:11
I just can't think of it. Wait, wait, wait. Something's coming to me I think there's green foliage wrapping around like this, you know, like what a roman would wear on their head
8:19
I just kind of winging it here I don know exactly what I going to put in the middle Yeah we going to try it like this I probably once again mixing up another Central American country I just haven worked out what it is yet
8:31
Okay, I'm going to draw a kind of, not an ostrich, but that kind of thing
8:35
I might just have to leave it like that because I can't think of anything else. Let's reveal the actual Nicaraguan flag
8:41
You are kidding me right now. I thought that was what the El Salvador flag was
8:47
What's the El Salvador flag? It also has a triangle. Oh no
8:51
How did I forget that one? It's literally one of only two flags that have a tiny bit of purple
8:56
It's the bit with the rainbow. That is so unbelievably annoying. Okay, undo, undo
9:01
Give me no points. I don't want any points. I don't deserve the points. I made the blue too big and everything. Aaaaaah
9:07
Alright, time for our final flag. Here we go. Let's get another obscure one. Turkmenistan. Right
9:13
Thank you for that. I have something in mind. I think there's a lot of green
9:17
And then I think I need a burgundy. Let's get a burgundy
9:21
How do I get burgundy? So I need a nice burgundy strip there
9:26
The way I remember Turkmenistan was there was like four symbols here
9:30
They didn't look anything like that. But basically I said that each of the symbols were the Turkmen
9:34
So that's why I know that I need to have four things here. But unfortunately I don't know what those four things are
9:40
I think they're just very detailed looking symbols. That kind of look like the kind of thing that you would see on an old carpet
9:47
So i'm just gonna draw some random squiggles like that get a bit of red on there as well
9:53
And then i'm just gonna copy and paste them. So yeah, just this kind of thing. Yeah, it really doesn't look anything like that
9:58
I think it has actual text that i'm too ignorant to understand, but that's what i'm gonna copy
10:03
I want that right there. I might have to make it a bit smaller get over here
10:07
You then another one and then is there room for one more little fella down the bottom
10:10
Oh just squeezing in and then do I draw an islamic moon and crescent here
10:16
Let's try it and we'll see how it looks just there. Thank you. And then another one, please
10:21
It's got to be an easier way of doing this. It's not the greatest crescent i've ever seen
10:24
But we'll go with it and then we need that there and then I just need to fill them both in with white
10:29
There we go. It's all kind of come together. I'd proudly display that flag on a big pole
10:34
Hopefully we're ending on a high here. Let's see. Okay Okay, that's not too bad. There's significant room for improvement, but my little carpet patterns
10:42
They're actually all different which I didn't realize but my color scheme for them is very accurate
10:47
We could have chucked a bit of green and white in there They definitely needed to be prettier and obviously i'm missing some stars on my moon and it's facing the wrong way
10:54
But overall i'm quite happy with that and I think we should get 75% of a point. Thank you very much
11:00
So there we go. That was my terrible attempt at drawing obscure flags
11:04
We were so close on so many but so far at the same time Please do subscribe and let me know in the comments what kind of challenge I should do for a future drawing flags video
11:11
and I will see you all next time
