https://incendar.com/ IF you have older cards or tight budget you can crossfire. I cross fired 2 7950 (obsolete card), can grab them on ebay under $50. But you can definitely hit 60fps maxxed everything outside of cities at 1080p (CPU will determine your FPS inside cities, overclocking CPU can help if you are lagging in cities, might do something on that soon! Zen cpu or high end intel is best for the poor optimization of BDO - 2 cores only . hey YouTube and sendar here with a video
0:03
on getting Crossfire to work in Black
0:06
Desert
0:07
online uh a couple people have told me
0:09
you know they could never get this to
0:11
work
0:12
or they didn't know it works but it does
0:16
work and you can get pretty good frames
0:20
you know double what you're normally
0:21
getting if you get it to work uh well
0:24
ideally a few things I'm going to be
0:26
using today you can see in the top right
0:28
this can only be done in full screen
0:30
mode you'll see the AMD Crossfire logo
0:33
at the top right and I'm using MSI After
0:36
Burner and Reva tuner here for the
0:39
onscreen display showing me my frames
0:41
how fast the gpus and CPUs are running
0:44
some other stuff this is really helpful
0:47
so I'll start with
0:48
that I'm going to have to drop to full
0:51
screen
0:53
windowed to actually do overlays
0:57
here okay so the first settings if you
1:00
have the crossfire wire already hooked
1:01
up and
1:02
whatnot this will be the global settings
1:05
in your AMD
1:06
profile you can uh pause this now and
1:10
just compare to what you have or change
1:12
it this is what I use and it works
1:15
great for specifically Black Desert 64
1:18
and you want to make sure that that's
1:20
the actual program it's
1:21
using you can pause again to see the
1:24
settings I
1:25
have for AMD here
1:30
for any of the applications that you
1:32
might need I'll put links in the
1:33
description so you can find those pretty
1:36
quick the first one is MSI After Burner
1:39
free download um you'll notice here I
1:42
use power limited to 20 and let's
1:44
briefly go into that once you get
1:46
Crossfire working and you see your logo
1:48
you might notice these clocks you can
1:50
see that right now I'm only using the
1:52
first GPU and the clock stay steady at
1:54
950 one of the main issues here if you
1:57
see this clock jumping up and down it's
1:59
probably because your GPU isn't getting
2:01
enough
2:02
power so an MSI you might have
2:05
to the second one here power limit you
2:08
might have to raise
2:10
that another problem is your computer
2:13
might be stuck in power saving mode and
2:16
there's another program called clock
2:17
blocker that'll actually force your
2:20
clock to stay maximum this use more
2:22
electricity and your system will get a
2:24
lot hotter but it will fix drops in your
2:28
clock rates and also put a link to that
2:33
below after you install After Burner it
2:36
actually comes with this runer so make
2:38
sure just do this installs by default so
2:41
just make sure this goes with it these
2:43
are the settings I'm using right now for
2:44
the on
2:46
screen you really want this onsc screen
2:48
stuff so you can actually make sure your
2:50
Crossfire is working I'm using one video
2:52
card right now and I can easily tell I'm
2:54
getting 30 frames right now if I run two
2:57
I easily get 60 with this recording
2:59
software I'm actually actually using the
3:00
video card to uh encode it so it takes
3:03
about 10 frames
3:05
off there's another issue you might
3:07
notice after you get uh working with
3:10
Crossfire you these will be steady
3:12
everything will be great and your frame
3:14
rate will lock at 30 that's actually a
3:17
Black Desert bug it doesn't it didn't
3:19
affect me before but if it does affect
3:21
people there is a
3:22
program and I won't get too into details
3:25
here if you have problems obviously
3:26
leave a comment and I'll put a link to
3:28
this program too
3:30
custom uh resolution utility it's called
3:34
and up here in the top box you can see
3:37
I'm forcing this to run at 60 frames
3:40
Black Desert might force you to run at
3:42
30 so if you noticed Crossfire is
3:44
working both cards are working and
3:45
you're only at 30 frames exactly you
3:48
might have to use this
3:51
utility another thing to know this game
3:54
is in insanely um tough on the CPU it's
3:57
just poorly optimized so when you're out
4:00
of the city obviously I'm using One
4:02
graphics card right now so I'm only get
4:04
30
4:05
frames um you should get 60 frames
4:07
everywhere out of the city as long as
4:08
you have a mid-range or two mid-range
4:11
graphics cards to Crossfire but you'll
4:13
quickly notice when you're going into
4:15
cities your frame rate's going to
4:18
drop uh cities are notoriously CPU
4:21
hungry you can see my frame rate already
4:23
drop 10 or 15 just by coming into high
4:25
high
4:27
here and that's actually an issue with
4:29
the CPU I'm going to do a different
4:31
video I think on how to overclock that
4:33
if you have an AMD CPU it's really easy
4:36
I might even try to find a link for a
4:38
good way just for you quickly
4:39
overclock when I overclock the uh 8370 I
4:44
have now from 4,000 to 4500 frame rate
4:47
went up 15 frames per second with
4:51
Crossfire so that helps a
4:53
lot as far as uh Black Desert
4:58
settings I'm currently running
5:00
everything maxed except for high-end
5:01
mode and improved
5:03
distance I can still get 60 frames with
5:06
27950 outside of cities with everything
5:09
set and then of course lag down to about
5:11
20 to 30 in high out with everything set
5:14
I can take some of the stuff off for for
5:16
higher frames you know maybe 30 to 40
5:18
steady in the
5:19
cities so hopefully this video will help
5:22
you get Crossfire working it does work
5:24
it works great black desert's a little
5:26
picky it's poorly optimized for CPU and
5:29
I'll do another video on that how to uh
5:31
improve that and that should work for
5:34
everybody uh so subscribe and you'll get
5:36
a notification every time I put a new
5:38
video out and thanks a lot for watching
5:40
and if you have any PRS or questions
5:42
check the comments and all links to uh
5:45
whatever programs I'm using I will put
5:47
in the description all right thanks a
5:48
lot
