The 90s saw their fare share of peak cinema. With independent film carving out a bigger spot for itself, CGI coming into it's own and even a bunch of animated Toys changing the industry's landscape, it's one of the more influential decades in the history of movies. But which year was the peakiest? Most peak? If you ask us, it was 1995. While Fight Club, The Matrix, Pulp Fiction and The Shawshank Redemption might make compelling arguments for other years in the decade, don't sleep on 1995. There may not have been a year more jam packed with a little something for everyone, while also setting the stage for Hollywood as we know it today, for better and worse. So let's talk about Ace Ventura, Batman, Waterworld, Se7en (or Seven if you need to), Die Hard, Goldeneye, James Bond, Michael Bay, Martin Scorsese, Dalmatians, Pigs, Ghosts, a whole Jungle coming after Robin Williams and EVERYTHING ELSE that 1995 threw at the silver screen. It was a big wild year, one that marked the beginning of the future of film.
