The Duskbloods: Is it More Elden Ring Nightreign than Bloodborne?

Nintendo just revealed its Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive from Dark Souls developer FromSoftware and its led by Hidetaka Miyazaki and while it's not called Bloodborne 2, it's basically the Bloodborne successor we've been waiting for called: The Duskbloods. This 8 player, PvPvE FromSoft game is bringing us back to familiar looking territory that's basically Yarnham, but is there more than meets the eye? We're taking a look at the trailer searching for lore clues, gameplay details, similarities and differences from Elden Ring and Bloodborne -- but most importantly, why this game is not called Bloodborne 2.
