Rick and Morty Season 8 Video Review

Taken as a whole, Rick and Morty Season 8 is not the show’s finest hour. The season starts off on a very underwhelming note, with an especially weak first half that sees the series recycling old tropes and ideas rather than blazing new ground. Fortunately, things do get markedly better as the season progresses, culminating in two all-time banger episodes in “Nomortland” and “Hot Rick.” Rick and Morty may no longer be as consistently great as it once was, but the show still has moments of pure sci-fi comedy brilliance.
