The Naked Gun: From The Files of Police Squad! is an absolute masterclass in joke-making. It's always seemed to me to be the most joke dense films ever made. We sat down to investigate it the old fashioned way, with pen, paper and a DVD copy of the Leslie Nielsen classic. We counted every fart, site gag, pun, prat fall, beaver and hot mic in a bathroom joke Det. Frank Drebin and the rest of the team at Police Squad! could muster back in 1988, and the answer we came up with is... well it was a lot!
