Disclosure Day Review

Steven Spielberg is back in theaters, and he's brought aliens with him for the first time in years. Disclosure Day is a very welcome return to blockbuster filmmaking for the director who pioneered it 50 years ago with Jaws. And while Disclosure Day provides all the things Spielberg does best, with some incredible lighting and camera movement, great performances from leads Emily Blunt and Josh O'Connor, the story of disclosing the existence of alien life to the entire world leaves a few unidentified flying leaps in logic that are worth talking about. Clint Gage reviews the film for IGN and talks about easily duped bad guys, the nits that feel more worth picking than others, and how the ending is a true Rorschach test for the audience.
