Let's start answering the questions for the topic, new activities. Do you like to try new activities
0:25
Why? First answer? Yes, I do. Trying some new activities. is really exciting as it tests my patience, courage, and strength
0:35
Doing so is a good opportunity for me to understand my ability better
0:39
Besides, learning new activities is acquiring life lessons that will surely be very helpful for my personal growth
0:47
Second answer? Well, not much. I'm a person who oftentimes stays in my comfort zone
0:54
I understand that every now and then we need to do something new in our lives so we can develop our skills that are helpful in achieving career development or self-growth
1:03
However, I don't always have the guts to try some new activities. I don't know, perhaps I'm not just a risk-taker
1:10
What activities would you like to try? First answer. I want those activities that can really challenge me
1:17
For instance, in recreational activities, I want to try skydiving, parachuting, and hot air ballooning
1:25
These activities have been on my bucket list. and I've been dreaming of doing these for so long
1:31
As for my career, I'd love to be involved in human resource training and development activities
1:36
like mentoring or employee coaching. I really want to understand the behavior of employees and how to develop their skills better
1:44
because honestly, I've dreamt of running my own business in the future
1:49
Another way to answer? Like I said earlier, I rarely try new activities
1:54
but whenever I in the mood of trying one or two I usually go for activities that don stress me out but give me so much pleasure such as cooking a new dish traveling to a new place or visiting a new coffee shop
2:08
These kinds of activities give me comfort. Why would I try something new that freaks me out when I can try wonderful activities that can surely make me happy
2:18
What activities did you do when you were a child? I was extremely active when I was a child, so I was more into athletics
2:25
In fact, I was one of the leaders of a sports club during my elementary and high school days
2:31
I played several sports such as tennis, basketball, badminton, and volleyball. I don't know, I think I was just crazy about sports then
2:41
Second answer, I was involved in extracurricular activities like the student newspaper, the art, the debate team
2:48
but one activity that I loved the most was the volunteer work and community service
2:53
I had an inexplicable feeling whenever our school conducted tree planning, beach cleaning, and visiting some poverty-stricken communities to hold a feeding program and provide health literacy, especially to less privileged kids
3:09
And because of that, I never missed any community service activities. Do you like to try new activities alone or with friends
3:18
First answer. Both are fine for me because each experience is completely different
3:23
I mean, if I do things in my own, I'll be able to understand my capacity to do things and get things done easily
3:31
If I try new activities with my buddies, I'll be able to learn the volley of teamwork, and normally it's more fun
3:38
And this reminds me of an African proverb, if you want to go fast, go alone
3:43
But if you want to go far, go together. A different way to answer
3:49
I prefer the former as I'm an introvert. I can easily do new things by myself as I can give my 100% concentration
3:57
However when I try doing new activities with other people even if they my friends I feel insignificant or inferior because I can fully express my ideas or opinions as I afraid that I may bother or offend them somehow
4:13
Now let's start answering the questions for the topic, borrowing or lending
4:18
Have you borrowed books from others? Not even once because I don't want to bother other people
4:24
I make sure to buy the books that I love to read. In case I can find the books in the bookstore or in an online shop, I just go to a city library to check if there's any
4:33
And if I'm lucky to find one, that's the time that I borrow. Second answer, as I'm still a student, yes, I have and for innumerable times
4:43
I don't have the means to buy books. Although I have a part-time job, my wage is just enough for my daily needs and for the rent of my apartment
4:51
To be honest with year, I just make ends me. Buying books isn't my priority
4:56
Is it good to borrow money from friends? First answer? Well, I don't see any problem with borrowing money from friends
5:05
as long as we keep a promise to pay them on time. As you know, money can usually break a relationship
5:11
So as much as possible, we have to avoid compromising our good relationship with our friends
5:16
And make sure to repay them on the exact date as promised. Another way to answer
5:23
Well, for me, no, because it does break a relationship. I've had many experiences that I let go of the people whom I once called friends because they never returned the money that they borrowed for me
5:34
It's just so frustrating because they took advantage of my kindness. Well, in a way, there are some people who are really shameless that they never really care about paying what they owe from here
5:46
Do you like lending things to others? First answer? Well, depends on what kinds of things people want to borrow from me
5:54
If they are just petty things like books shoes clothes things like that without a second thought I can lend them However if it more valuable like a car or jewelry I hesitate to lend those precious things even to my closest friends because I afraid that they might damage it or lose it
6:14
Second answer? Well, it's in a case-by-case basis. If the borrower is the person who is near and dear to me
6:21
without hesitation, I will lend my things. However, if the person who wants to borrow things from me
6:27
is someone who is careless or irrespective. even if he's my friend, I never give him any chance to borrow or use my things
6:36
How do you feel when people don't return things they borrow from you
6:40
First answer? Of course, I will be very upset, most especially if the borrower is the person whom I give my trust
6:48
But I'm usually patient, so if he gives me a reasonable explanation as to why he can't return my things
6:55
then I'll just wait until he can give my things back. Well, as long as there is an acceptable reason, I don't stress myself on thinking about it
7:05
Another way to answer? I definitely hate it when people never really care about returning my things
7:12
Most especially if they don't give any effort of explaining to me the reason
7:16
I'm a person who doesn't like reminding others to return my things or asking them to pay me the money that they borrowed
7:23
And because of that, I don't easily lend my things to others. I don't want to be stressed out
7:28
Have you ever borrowed money from your friends? Yes, but just once, that was when I was seriously struggling financially
7:36
and that's because I got laid up from my work. Actually, it was my first experience to borrow money from one of my closest friends
7:43
and honestly, I was kind of embarrassed doing such, but I had no choice then
