U.S.-Iran talks in Switzerland: Sides agree to establish de-confliction cell in Lebanon

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun held a conference call today with U.S. Vice President JD Vance, Jared Kushner, and Qatar's Prime Minister, as all parties attempt to maintain a fragile ceasefire. This comes as Israeli leadership reiterates that Israel will not withdraw from its established security zone in southern Lebanon, amid the ongoing threat from the Iranian proxy group Hezbollah.
