The countdown to the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics has begun, with the opening ceremony taking place on February 6 at Milan's San Siro Stadium. The star-studded event will feature Hollywood A-listers, international celebrities, and world-renowned performers celebrating the Games' official launch. Mariah Carey will headline the show, with the Milan-Cortina Foundation saying she "fully embodies the emotional atmosphere that accompanies the path to the Games." Tenor Andrea Bocelli is set to return to the Olympic stage 20 years after his appearance at the Turin Games. He has said it's "a great honor and a deeply emotional experience." Snoop Dogg will be heard during the opening and throughout the Games as part of NBCUniversal's Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics team. Following his involvement with the 2024 Paris Olympics, Snoop is expected to bring his personal perspective to the various sporting events throughout the Games.  Tom Cruise is also expected to attend the ceremony, representing the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics as the summer Games transition to its next host city.
