So let's get into it. Now it's very simple and easy to add a custom domain and there are so many different marketplaces

you can buy domains from. You can buy domains natively on Shopify or go on to a third

party platform like GoDaddy or NameCube to buy your domains. So let's get into how you can add your

custom domain to your Shopify store. Now to add a custom domain simply log on to your Shopify

dashboard. Once you are in your Shopify dashboard, click on settings on the bottom left. Once you click

on settings you want to scroll down and you will see domains on the bottom left as well. Once you click on

domains you will simply click on connect existing domain if you have already purchased a domain

name if you have not purchased a domain name then you want to click on buying new domain over here

and you can search for any kind of domain name that you want to purchase for example clothing store

You can usually find a better deal on other platforms and more options such as GoDaddy So GoDaddy is a domain registrar and you can find multiple different domain names I purchased the domain name called dead and dot store and we going to link this domain name to our

Shopify store. So to add our custom domain to Shopify I'm going to click on connect existing domain

Once I do that I'm just going to enter the domain name. Then you're going to click on next

and then you will just click on verify connection. So if a

What if you buy off of a smaller domain name registrar? What can you do in that situation

Well if you buy from a smaller domain registrar then you will have to edit the DNS settings So whenever you buy a domain name you have account settings you have your domain info over here And if we just go on ahead and take a look at the domain you can click

on the DNS settings over here before we connect it to a store. You will be able to find all of the

DNS information and you just have to copy and paste it over there to the other section as well. So you can go

going to DNS over here and then it will show you the DNS records currently it says Shopify
