Previous Lecture On Hebrews 5:8, see link below https://tayibs.com/2020/04/28/although-he-was-a-son-he-learned-obedience-through-what-he-suffered-the-implications-of-hebrews-58/ Today we are going to be talking about what reverence for  God looks like. The verse that led me to consider this topic is Hebrews 5:7, 7 In the days of his flesh, Jesus[a] offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence.  The verse is basically telling us that in his time as a man on planet earth, Jesus offered up prayers with loud cries and tears, and his prayers were heard because He had reverence for God the Father. ( His Father). We'll be taking a closer look at the verse and understanding its implications for us today. Scripture References: Hebrews 5:7 Philippians 2:5-10 2 Kings 1 :1-16
