hey what's going on guys this is tayba
0:01
hasakix.com
0:03
and this morning we're going to talk
0:04
about the jordan 13 black
0:06
hyper royal now it's going to come out
0:08
on the 19th of december
0:10
it's going to cost 190 in mainz and for
0:12
kids i believe is either 120 or 140 one
0:15
of those numbers
0:16
but um the shoe is probably gonna be
0:19
like available in substantial numbers
0:21
it's a general release so
0:22
i think it's gonna be a fair amount but
0:24
we're gonna discuss that in in like
0:26
in a couple of minutes here so according
0:28
to what i read online
0:29
the colorway was probably uh inspired by
0:32
the quentin uh richardson
0:34
jordan 13 pe you know quentin was a
0:36
jordan team member and he had his own pe
0:39
made for when he played for the orlando
0:40
magic
0:41
and for other teams as well so this one
0:43
was one of those
0:44
so the colorway is pretty much
0:45
reminiscent of of that shoe
0:48
so um this is what i read online but i
0:50
you know that's what people say so
0:52
you never know what the truth is unless
0:54
nike itself like
0:56
says it but what i would say is this
0:57
like in 2019 we we saw
1:00
the release of the hyper royal white and
1:02
blue one so i guess it's feeling for
1:04
nike to bring
1:05
a more conservative colorway now the
1:07
shoe is basically
1:08
black with blue highlights on the
1:11
midsole
1:12
the back and the outside of the tongue
1:13
and you have a 3m reflective
1:15
component to it on the sides and this is
1:18
pretty much it now we're going to
1:19
jump into the i'm talking about numbers
1:22
now all right
1:23
let's do that now the first thing we do
1:25
is we always want to know
1:27
who's getting this sneaker and as far as
1:30
i'm concerned
1:31
from what i read online and from what i
1:33
got it you know doing my research
1:35
food action is going to get it that's
1:36
obvious foot lock is going to get
1:38
changed
1:38
it's going gonna be installed online and
1:40
especially it's gonna be online only
1:42
foolishness finish line jd sports hybrid
1:46
so those are the major on chains and the
1:47
minor change you have
1:49
dtl or jimmy jazz evelyn's city here
1:51
shakespeare shoe palace
1:53
and any other one you can find now i
1:55
didn't like
1:56
purposely i didn't include the boutiques
1:58
because their allocation won't really
2:00
affect our projections so i'm not going
2:01
to waste my time trying to find all
2:03
these little places that are getting it
2:05
so and then the next thing we're going
2:06
to go is we need to set up our
2:08
assumptions so i'm going to assume that
2:10
footlocker
2:11
and production and champs are going to
2:12
get 40 of the total on production
2:15
nike and the remaining major minor
2:18
chains are going to split the remaining
2:19
40
2:21
and then we can single out uh nike
2:23
sneakers
2:24
and say that nike sneakers gonna get
2:26
about 20
2:27
so this is what i'm thinking again this
2:29
is just based on my own
2:31
assumption so now we're gonna talk about
2:32
some more assumptions because now we
2:34
have to add
2:36
the following i'm going to assume that
2:38
foot locker regular foot lockers are
2:39
going to get like 18 pairs
2:41
and then full action and champs are
2:42
going to get like 12 pairs per store
2:45
and then um their allocation online is
2:47
going to be like one third of the total
2:49
the physical
2:50
stores are getting and then we're also
2:52
going to assume that east space is going
2:53
to get an additional one third from the
2:55
total from the allocation
2:57
from foot locker production and champs
2:59
online and then we also need to
3:01
understand that
3:02
hasselhood's location probably going to
3:04
get more pairs so i'm going to give
3:06
households
3:06
48 pairs and then the next thing is just
3:09
running the numbers this is pretty easy
3:11
for foot locker physical store is going
3:13
to be 8 30 times
3:14
18 which is 14 940 pairs for house of
3:18
hoops is 170 times 48 which is eight
3:20
thousand one hundred
3:22
and sixty and for a foot action it's
3:23
gonna be 271 times seven
3:25
times twelve which is 3252 and for
3:28
champs is going to be
3:29
64 64 once i do the multiplication
3:32
and then for the online allocation you
3:34
just add up all these numbers and you
3:36
divided by three
3:37
which i came up with and i had 10 972
3:42
and for each base you just take that
3:44
number and divide it by three
3:45
based on our assumptions and i came up
3:47
with 36.58
3:49
and the total from footlogger for action
3:50
champions in east bay you add everything
3:52
together
3:53
and i get 47 546 spares
3:57
you can stretch that number to 50 000
4:00
just to be
4:01
on the safe side because i might have
4:03
like screw up my assumptions there
4:05
and then to get a total for the usa you
4:08
just do the 40
4:09
plus 40 plus 20 which is 125
4:13
000 and this is what i got here now
4:16
to get our uh total so this number
4:20
like represent just the usa allocation
4:23
this is based on what i said earlier so
4:26
you can conclude that the total number
4:27
of pairs made
4:28
like then for the entire world will be
4:30
anywhere between
4:31
125 000 to 250 000
4:35
and you can give nike sneakers about 20
4:37
000 pairs or 30 000 pairs so i'm
4:39
thinking anywhere between
4:40
125k and then 250k this is what i'm
4:44
thinking
4:44
now the next thing we're going to do is
4:46
we're going to talk about um
4:48
resale and all that so before i do that
4:50
i need to pause and show you a couple
4:52
things here
4:56
[Music]
5:16
[Music]
5:23
[Music]
5:30
[Music]
5:35
so double check your shoe if you're
5:37
getting it from a third-party
5:38
marketplace there's a lot of fakes out
5:40
there so
5:41
i wrote an article on how to quickly
5:43
identify the fake
5:44
jordan 13 black and hyper royal so you
5:46
may want to check that out
5:48
i may have it on youtube maybe today or
5:50
tomorrow but if you don't want wait till
5:51
then just go on the website i'll provide
5:53
you a link in the description
5:54
and this is it here and i have a lot
5:56
other um
5:58
comparisons on the website for the fire
5:59
at four it's on youtube it's also my
6:01
website for the black metallic
6:03
gold one for the jubilee 11s
6:07
for the fragment threes for the um japan
6:10
one code midnight
6:11
and the dark mocha and the fake jordan 4
6:15
union of noir
6:16
that's a lot more so make sure you check
6:18
the description i will have a link for
6:20
you there
6:21
for you to uh double check your pairs
6:23
okay
6:24
now let's go and talk about resale
6:27
so resale are divided in two sections
6:30
first i do resell versus time
6:32
and then we do resale versus size so
6:35
what i did it versus time you can kind
6:36
of see what's going on like last friday
6:38
that she was selling for like 297
6:41
dollars and actually went up to like 307
6:43
so basically this is a breakdown of the
6:45
average resale value
6:47
by day okay every day for example i
6:50
collect all the data from that day and
6:52
after
6:52
total of everything and you divide by
6:53
the total number of shoes sold and you
6:55
get your average
6:56
so 297 307 282 268 260 and 256
7:02
so my observation is this you can see
7:04
what's going on within the last
7:05
three days here it's going between 268
7:09
and 260 and 256.
7:11
so first he was like really high and
7:14
kind of dropped like 260.
7:15
so here's what i'm going to say to you
7:17
i'm thinking this resale value is going
7:19
to be anywhere between like 250 and 260
7:21
or in the low 260s because by the time
7:24
the shoe releases
7:25
chances are it's going to drop a little
7:27
a little bit so i'm thinking it's
7:28
probably gonna stay between like 250 and
7:30
260
7:31
and i'm going to read off my chart right
7:33
now because i want to give you a better
7:35
and accurate um description here so
7:38
basically
7:38
let's see so like i said the chart above
7:41
gives you
7:42
a breakdown of the average resale value
7:44
of the 13.
7:46
you can kind of see that there's a
7:47
negative trade which means that the
7:49
resale value has been decreasing by day
7:51
and the most important days to observe
7:53
with the last three days between the 14
7:55
and the 16
7:56
and the current resale value is like in
7:58
the low 260s so i'm thinking by the 19th
8:00
it's going to be anywhere between 250
8:02
and 260 or a little more than that
8:04
now we can talk about resale value by
8:06
size so let's also do that and you see
8:08
exactly what size to aim for if you're a
8:10
reseller so you see what's going on here
8:13
right small size like a seven is
8:15
terrible like i wouldn't even mess with
8:17
it if if i was you
8:19
well anywhere between seven and a half
8:20
to like all the way to like 10 12 or 13
8:24
pretty much is consistent with what i
8:26
said earlier anything between like 250
8:28
and 260 because this is again prior to
8:30
release date so
8:31
expect this value to decrease by the
8:34
time the shoot drops
8:35
like on the 19th so right now it's
8:37
between like 250 and 270 but by the time
8:40
it drops i'm expecting anywhere between
8:42
like 260 and in the low 260s or
8:44
something like that
8:45
now 14 and 15 obviously are gonna fetch
8:48
the highest value because those sizes
8:50
are scarce so
8:51
you can kind of see why they are like in
8:54
a
8:54
high uh three on two nineties and
8:58
like all the way more like i mean meet
9:00
350 so i'm sorry i kind of lost my
9:03
my speech over there i don't know what
9:05
the heck is going on with me
9:06
but uh let me give you the breakdown
9:08
what i wrote and then you can make your
9:10
own conclusions from there
9:12
so like i said like larger sizes like 13
9:14
and above
9:15
they yield to the highest margins with
9:17
returns like within the 280 and 253 350
9:20
range
9:21
so what you can expect your profit
9:23
margins to fall
9:24
under is anywhere between 25 and 35
9:27
dollars
9:27
so you're probably gonna be making like
9:29
anything between like 25 all the way up
9:30
to 40 or maybe a little less
9:32
for common sizes like anything between
9:34
the 8 and like 11
9:36
and 12 that's how much money you can
9:38
make out of it now
9:39
if i was you if i wanted to sell this
9:40
shoe i'll probably sell it on ebay
9:42
because
9:42
the fees on men's shoes no longer apply
9:46
so but i wrote an article on that and
9:48
i'm gonna be sharing that in a little
9:49
bit because ebay is being a little bit
9:51
like
9:53
they're tricking us there's a glitch
9:54
there that i'm going to be talking about
9:56
probably in the next um
9:57
on couple of hours so i want to share
9:59
that soon so let's say you want to buy
10:01
the shoes now
10:02
you can actually check the link in the
10:04
description or i'm gonna show you
10:06
uh just go on my website and i'm gonna
10:09
show you
10:09
a link in the second if you wanna buy
10:11
now just go on my website i have the
10:13
