The Nike Dunk Low City Market is set to officially release on March the 4th and retails for $110. Here is the information I gathered via Nike as it pertains to the inspiration behind the shoe,
Recent times have seen the Dunk dressed up to commemorate a host of causes—and this eclectic edition extends that legacy by using divergent visuals to celebrate durable materials and their role in Nike’s innovative heritage. Graphics nod to the brand’s Blue Ribbon Sports roots, as well as industrial rice and coffee bags that are frequently upcycled from urban markets for a wide range of uses.
On the tongue, a small, zippered compartment nods to reusable grocery storage, with its accompanying tag reimagined to resemble a nutrition facts label. Finally, an accompanying grocery bag pays its respects with a simple commendation: “Thank You For Caring!”
We’ll now try to come up with an estimate of the number of pairs that could be made and also talk about the shoe’s current resale value

hey what's going on guys this is
0:01
tybahasakis.com
0:03
and this morning we're going to talk
0:04
about the nike dunk low city market
0:06
this shoe is going to come out tomorrow
0:08
which is march the 4th and it's going to
0:09
cost about 110.
0:11
now i wanted to do a quick article on
0:13
how many pairs were made and the resale
0:15
value and all that stuff
0:17
so i didn't get a chance to really
0:18
polish this so i'm just going to jump
0:20
off and just do a quick
0:21
okay again this is the second time this
0:23
has happened there's been a lot of work
0:25
so you got to forgive me for this kind
0:26
of stuff because i'm
0:28
just being really swamped with all types
0:30
of work
0:31
again if you go on nike's website you
0:33
can kind of see what the brand is
0:34
talking about
0:35
they're saying here to celebrate uh
0:38
durable materials
0:39
and they are rolling nike's innovative
0:41
um heritage this shoe was being dropped
0:44
so the graphics nod to the brand's blue
0:46
ribbon
0:47
sports roots as well as industrial rice
0:49
and coffee bags
0:50
that are frequently upcycled upcycled
0:53
from urban markets for a wide range of
0:55
uses
0:56
so basically you can kind of see that
0:58
through the entire
0:59
shoe i'm going to give you a better look
1:01
at it here okay
1:02
look at all these these are all like
1:04
recycled materials
1:06
and this is interesting good look i love
1:08
it they even have like the
1:10
the rice bag the weight and all that wow
1:13
so i didn't really as you can see i
1:15
didn't really get a chance to study the
1:16
shoe as well
1:17
like really good i just wanted to give
1:20
you a quick look at it and then we're
1:21
going to jump into um
1:23
what how many pairs were made and all
1:25
that because i know a lot of people have
1:26
asked
1:27
so i wanted to get to that today so
1:30
basically uh when i
1:31
when i wrote the article earlier uh the
1:34
first thing i did was uh we want to know
1:36
who's getting the shoe and if you go on
1:38
nike's website
1:40
i'm gonna do that now if you go nike's
1:42
website you can kind of figure it out
1:43
yourself
1:44
you just go here and it gives you all
1:46
these locations like pretty much a lot
1:48
of the locations are getting i went to
1:49
austria
1:50
belgium they all getting it even brazil
1:53
is getting it
1:54
like i clicked on here like brazil is
1:56
getting it uh
1:58
people in spain are getting it like a
1:59
lot of countries are getting i don't
2:01
know why my enemy may be slow so i'm not
2:02
gonna waste your time on that
2:04
but you can do that you can pretty much
2:05
uh see what i what i did and you can do
2:08
that yourself
2:09
now uh so basically when i what i did
2:12
was okay
2:13
i wanted to figure out who was getting
2:14
the shoes so i know nike in the us is
2:17
getting it and then all the european
2:18
nikes
2:19
are getting it canada is getting asia's
2:21
getting america's we have
2:22
the south americans is getting it in new
2:25
zealand in africa they're like three
2:26
locations so
2:27
all together when i counted it came up
2:29
to like 41 locations
2:31
that's just nike and then the retailers
2:34
you have a bunch of them
2:35
over 91 read to 81 retailers so i'll
2:38
give you just the
2:39
the most common one one block down and
2:41
snickers and stuff
2:42
off the hook atmos bodiga food shop
2:45
keith
2:46
feature 24k exclusivity now if you want
2:49
to get the entire list you can click on
2:51
this on my website or check it
2:53
you can kind of see they have like over
2:55
81
2:56
actually 92 links so that's 92 locations
2:59
so you have a lot of chances you can
3:01
enter the raffle
3:02
because that's how they're going to
3:03
operate and then get yours too if you
3:05
can
3:06
all right so there's a lot of places
3:07
here that you can enter so i will
3:09
encourage you to
3:10
to just go on my website and click that
3:11
link it's going to take you right there
3:13
so let's go back now
3:14
what i did was i set up my assumptions
3:17
i'm assuming that
3:18
twenty percent of the inventory is gonna
3:19
go to nike us and then the fifty percent
3:22
is gonna go to the rest of the world uh
3:23
nike and then we have remaining thirty
3:26
percent i'm gonna give that to retailers
3:27
and boutiques
3:29
so the next the next uh biggest task is
3:31
to figure out
3:33
what is nike getting like the us what
3:35
are you gonna get because i'm gonna use
3:36
their numbers to pretty much create
3:39
on the rest of their the inventory so
3:42
the shoe we have from size three and a
3:44
half all the way to size 15.
3:46
so what i did was i'm assuming that
3:48
between three and a half and five
3:49
five and a half there's gonna be 40
3:51
pairs per size meaning
3:53
40 40 pairs per size of three and a half
3:55
and so and so
3:56
for six and six and a half i counted
4:00
uh 70 per size this is what i'm assuming
4:02
for seven and seven and a half
4:03
120 for eight and eight and a half or
4:06
three hundred pairs because those are
4:07
more common sizes
4:08
and for nine through eleven five hundred
4:10
pairs because again those are a lot of
4:12
people
4:12
not going to wear those sizes for 11 and
4:14
a half 12 and 13 we can come down to
4:16
like 300
4:17
because again uh this is not that big of
4:20
a size
4:21
this is not that it's a size as common
4:23
but it's not very
4:24
common i would say now 12 and a half is
4:26
really rare
4:27
so i put 30 for that 14 again you have a
4:30
lot of people that were 14
4:32
but it's not as common so i'll put 100
4:34
and for 15 we're gonna
4:36
stick to the 40 pairs okay so the rest
4:38
is just
4:39
simple arithmetic just multiplying the
4:41
numbers five times forty two times
4:44
seventy
4:44
two times one twenty and uh you add all
4:46
these numbers together i came up with
4:48
four thousand seven hundred and fifty
4:49
pairs for nike
4:50
in the us now this we assume that the
4:54
outset that that was 20
4:55
percent of the total production so to
4:57
get the entire production you just have
4:59
to take this number
5:00
and multiply that by five because 20
5:02
times five is 100 percent
5:04
i came up with twenty four thousand
5:05
seven hundred and fifty pairs and i
5:07
stretched it to twenty five thousand
5:09
pairs again as you all know guys i don't
5:11
work for none of these brains so i'm
5:13
just
5:13
pretty much just building this thing
5:15
based on the kind of information that's
5:17
available
5:18
okay the next thing i did was i went in
5:20
and i did uh
5:21
i tried to figure out what how's the
5:23
shoe doing okay
5:24
so you can kind of see it's an
5:26
incredible shoe as far as like your
5:27
resale is concerned
5:28
i'll give you a breakdown here by size
5:31
and then i also give you the profit that
5:32
you can earn
5:33
by selling each one of these now for
5:35
size four
5:37
you you're going to be making about 325
5:39
dollars it ain't for us for size four
5:41
and a half to a 292 almost 300 bucks
5:44
for a size five 350 almost for a size
5:47
five and a half 311
5:49
for a size six 321 and so forth and so
5:52
on so you can kind of see
5:54
the ones in gold are the sizes that are
5:55
fetching the highest
5:57
uh margins so you can kind of see size 5
6:00
12 and 13 anywhere between 350
6:04
and then 360. every other size is pretty
6:06
much 311 so between like 270 and then
6:09
311 so this is a good
6:10
shoe for the resale market it's gonna be
6:13
a good one to get
6:14
okay so i'm not gonna waste too much of
6:16
the time that's all i wanted to say
6:18
if you want to buy the shoe now i have a
6:20
link for you on my website you can get
6:21
it from ebay
6:22
just hit hit this like and this this
6:25
link
6:26
and i'll have a link for in the
6:27
description okay thanks for watching and
6:29
by the way i just wrote an article this
6:30
morning again for the kobe
6:32
6 all-star so if you want to read that
6:35
you can always go to my website
6:37
and you're going to see this one of the
6:39
first article that i wrote this morning
6:41
so
6:42
i i did a prediction on how many pairs
6:44
were made and this is a scarce a shoe
6:46
it's not that many made but it doesn't
6:47
mean anything because the shoe is not
6:49
doing that great
6:50
on the resale market so people that
6:51
really want it are gonna get it all
6:53
right
6:53
so i'm gonna wrap this up now and have a
6:55
wonderful day and i'll see you next time
6:57
again if you have a question
6:59
please uh ask it in the comment section
7:01
and
7:02
um if you like this content please like
7:05
share and subscribe to the channel it
7:07
does help a lot again have a wonderful
7:09
