To be honest I wish there weren't conflicts in marriage but the reality is conflict is a bridge that everyone who is married will have to cross. With this reality, it is important for me to say that there is healthy conflict and that's where -every one of us should focus to handle our issues. This brings me to our fourth lesson focusing on Marriage today-- "FOCUS ON THE ISSUE NOT THE PERSON" In this one year of marriage, we realized that focusing on the person only causes more pain and never help in solving the issue at hand. Every person wants to defend themselves and when your partner feels like they're being attacked they end up pushing back and that begins a journey of the blame game.
