Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Balsamic Glaze
Ingredients:
1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
Optional toppings: Grated Parmesan cheese, chopped nuts (such as walnuts or pecans)
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
Prepare the Brussels Sprouts:
Trim the ends off the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half lengthwise. If the sprouts are large, you can quarter them for quicker roasting.
