Pasta Aglio e Olio (Garlic and Olive Oil) 🌹
Ingredients:
8 ounces (225g) spaghetti or linguine
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
4-6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Grated Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta:
Cook the spaghetti or linguine in a large pot of boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
Prepare the Sauce:
While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
