Carbonara Cake is a creative twist on the classic carbonara pasta, baked into a delightful savory pie. Here's how to make it:
Ingredients:
12 oz (340 g) spaghetti or bucatini
1 tbsp olive oil (for greasing the pan)
4 large eggs
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup grated pecorino Romano cheese
1/2 cup heavy cream (or plant-based cream for a lighter version)
6 oz (170 g) pancetta or bacon, diced (use plant-based alternatives for a vegetarian version)
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta:
